Selling knives doesn't seem like it'd be too profitable.
They're kitchen sets and such. People buy that.
It's not hard if you know how to sell, but usually companies don't teach you how to run a business when they hire you to do that sort of job. It's only hard to sell merch because you're going to be selling to say, 30000 people, give or take. Now, you can only sell these people knives once, so once you make the sale you've lost them as a potential customer. Not everyone is going to buy either, so unless you're changing who you're selling to by traveling, it's going to be hard to sell because every sale you make kills the demand a little bit more.
Ya, I dont know. I was all happy about my first job, and you killed it, but oh well....thanks :( |
Well now you've got me doubting it. Might be a good thing too. I ran a google search about the company, and it seems they've had some problems with employees, saying how hard it is to sell the products. Hmm.
Dammit Vince. It took him this long to find a job and now you have him doubting the one he has. |
They're kitchen sets and such. People buy that.
Good point. I thought you'd be like those creepy people on those TV shows trying to sell swords and daggers. That'd never work. |

Ya, I dont know. I was all happy about my first job, and you killed it, but oh well....thanks :(
Oh no, I think you can do fine at it, you just need to make sure you sell your product strategically and be sure you don't sell only in your city and then be sad when a few months down the line you run out of customers. Besides, at worst, it'll last you the summer and you can be making money whilst looking for a more steady job for during the year. It's actually not a bad scenario.
Dammit Vince.
Wouldnt going to McDonalds just cancel out the weight loss from the running?
Cya Spence
No, not really. Have you ever watched Supersize Me? Some guy has been eating Big Macs several times a day, every day for the past like.. 20 years and hasn't gained an ounce, and he's not even physically active. |
Hi, you guys.
Well, today I checked out my new house and got the keys. For the first time in my life, I am currently legal paying tenant in 2 properties. How good is that - I could have 2 centre parties, or have 2 ladies in 2 seperate beds, or have my choice of where I want to sleep when I come home from town drunk, or many other possibilities. Best of all, my new room is 2nd floor, and has a great stoner window (just about beanbag height). I can barely wait... |
