Soulseek is lame.

beso negro 04-03-2008 11:16 AM

i still use soulseek. i would get banned from waffles because i rarely download new music or share. i've been listening to the same 8 albums for 6 months now.

perriwinkle 04-03-2008 11:18 AM

list them plz

Mr. Pickle 04-03-2008 11:20 AM

beso negro 04-03-2008 12:18 PM
list them plz
what

o ok:
Bob Marley - Soul Rebels
Mr. Bungle - California
Trail of Dead - Madonna
Trail of Dead - Source tags and Codes
Mobb Deep - Infamous
QOSTA - Songs for the Deaf
Cryptopsy - None so Vile
Thin Lizzy - Johnny the Fox

these are the only albums i've listened to in the past 6-8 months.

i remember when i was in highschool and i tried to listen to more than 1 new album a day so i had good taste but i don't have that kind of time anymore. i'm stuck in a rut.

perriwinkle 04-03-2008 12:27 PM

yeah it seems like you've had excessive amounts of thin lizzy and bob marley in your life

Zmev 04-03-2008 12:56 PM

keep STC, QOTSA, and Cryptopsy and lose the rest

Isaac Butt 04-03-2008 12:59 PM

keep STC, QOTSA and Mobb Deep and lose the rest
Who has a waffles.fm account here?
I do. I haven't downloaded or uploaded anything yet. I'm afraid I'm gonna get banned for a bad ratio, and I can never find anything to upload. Everything I have I think is obscure is already on the site in lossless quality or I only have it in like 160kbps.

So I don't have any invites, sorry.

Robert Crumb 04-03-2008 01:47 PM

Yeah, keep the Mobb Deep

American Music Club are playing here tonight but I dunno if I want to watch a bunch of old guys play songs I don't really care about

perriwinkle 04-03-2008 01:57 PM

i think itd be a sorta boring show

Robert Crumb 04-03-2008 02:00 PM

Yeah, prolly it's also like $30 wtf

Neoteric 04-03-2008 02:15 PM

Neoteric 04-03-2008 02:22 PM

spring break starts tomorrow for me woo woo

Robert Crumb 04-03-2008 02:29 PM

That's a super late spring break. I'm on my spring break right now, kinda dull because I have to work and couldn't take off from town.

seamantis 04-03-2008 02:32 PM

Are they any people from Northampton shire in this forum that play instruments and want to start a band?

Its a longshot but finding it hard to find people :(

Neoteric 04-03-2008 02:32 PM

I figured it out from there. :\
i was bouncing around there and then they get to this step that totally throws me off
Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 172.16.0.1.
i have no clue what to do there. i can put my ip address into the address bar but it doesn't load anything/404 error

Mr. Pickle 04-03-2008 02:39 PM

You have to get into your modem/router/whatever to adjust the settings, at least that is what I had to do. The ip thing didn't work for me, either. I just sent an e-mail to my isp asking them how to get in; it was just some basic link.

niobium 04-03-2008 02:51 PM

alright i'm glad i'm not totally inept. that step makes no sense. i'll try that. must spread rep

sweboy 04-03-2008 03:47 PM

Type this into your address bar:

http://192.168.1.1

if it asks for username and password, most routers (at least Linksys ones, the most popular brand) have a default setup of

username: user
password: admin

Glitterati 04-03-2008 08:12 PM

I wish I still had my Gameboy.

dei 04-03-2008 08:26 PM

I still have my Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Camera.

Liebensaft 04-03-2008 08:53 PM

I was such a loser when I was about 7 that I RAGED when I was losing in a Gameboy Color game and threw the Gameboy, smashing it to pieces.

username: user
password: admin
i tried that earlier, and it just gives me another 404 error. i seemed pretty stuck, until my female friend saved the day. she thought to google a title headline from the tutorial, and it ended up working with an ip address very close to that. i managed to finally get through that guide, and ports are supposedly forwarded according to the utorrent test.

it took me like 30 minutes to think to try that though. so yeah.

dei 04-03-2008 10:28 PM

I've never had a problem with my ports.

niobium 04-03-2008 10:37 PM

neither have i for 7 years until now

i added utorrent and slsk

dei 04-03-2008 10:44 PM

niobium 04-03-2008 10:51 PM

Glitterati 04-04-2008 09:11 AM

Apocalyptic Raids 04-04-2008 09:30 AM
