Wait, you expected more from me? |
haha, Creedence is on tonight!
and i'm not sure in the differences in the DSTOM's, i didn't notice any, but it may just be clearer. |
hey badmoon i couldn't find that black berry blossom song, but i searched tony rice and found another song i enjoy playing. its called Red Haired Boy.
edit- i'm finding all kinds of songs i've been playing for years. i've never heard anyone else play them though. suddenly i don't feel very talented at guitar. |
^Nice :thumb: Tony Rice is an insane guitarist. Surely one of the greatest as of now.
The DSOTMs aren't very different methinks.
I haven't ever noticed a difference, but I've never looked for one, or listened to them back to back. I need to find my copy of DSOTM.
The newest edition, 30th anniversary, is a SACD, rather than just cd. If you get a SACD player, its supposed to make it sound much better, like surround sound or something. But the player is like a hundred something.
I'll bet you it's still better on vinyl anyways.
That's probably true :thumb:
I really want to set up my dad's turn table.
I really want to get DSOTM on vinyl.
/turntable already set up. |
I wonder if I have it, I can't remember.
i just got an emerson lake and palmer greatest hits album, jimi hendrix live @ woodstock, and bela fleck and the flecktones Live Art from my local used record store. the best part, they were all ten dollars or under. and in great shape. the elp kicks *** so far, and i can't wait to pop in hendrix. of course bela fleck will be sick, he plays banjo. and if that weren't enough he has victor wooten on bass!

ahh **** im a loser! oh ****! im going to bed. to cry. and eat lots of candy

So yeah. I bought Tommy, by the Who. I must admit it is a concept album, and a half, but what is their obsession with Tommy, and his life? Who is Tommy? And it seems kinda Floydish, ala The Wall.
Tommy's the son. The deaf, dumb, and blind boy. The story basically documents his extraodinary life, through fame and salvation.
 I'm not sure, but I think just about every regular in this thread likes The Doors, although I'm not sure how many people in here really love them. ;)
Oh I love the Doors. :naughty: |
