As a non-Smiths fan, I like Hatful of Hallow. I've never listened to Louder than Bombs, so I can't say how it stacks up. But Hatful is definitely worth checking out, I think.

go with Louder Than Bombs. The only thing you are really missing from Hatful is Handsome Devil

i'd buy both.

Hatful of Hallow is a good Smiths release but the songs sound a little tedious at times (This Night Has Opened My Eyes and Back to the Old House are amazing songs though).

all their albums are beyond super.

I am in love with Blade Runner just now...I went to a screening last night with a couple of buddies after we'd eaten some "hash cookies", and it was incredible. That movie is trippy as hell, the lights, the music and sound effects were mesmerising.
