Base mod level is 20,000 points, which gives the ability to give 400 (positive) rep points.
so one rep from a mod would get me stars. Great. Most mods don't have the time of day for low posters a la moi. Ah well.....back to the drawing board.

For me, the stamina required is the hardest thing about that song.

Nah, the intro isn't bad...the solo may be a lost cause, but I almost have the intermediary solo down :)

Hey everyone, I was looking for a place to jump in the conversation, but couldn't find one between guitar and the killer/pimp duck talk.

Arucard 02-02-2005 02:38 PM

Well hi. Hows it going?

Pfft...you called me a n00b in drums :(

Bartender 02-02-2005 02:39 PM

You know, this year is John Titor's moment of truth. Am I the only one who has been looking forward to it?

Arucard 02-02-2005 02:40 PM

Yes.

/Who is he?

Eitri Is Berserk 02-02-2005 02:41 PM

Im hoping to reach 500 posts tonight.. It seems just beyond what I can do in one night..

Don't go there if you don't have time to spare, though. It's a long haul.
You know, this year is John Titor's moment of truth. Am I the only one who has been looking forward to it?
I've been looking forward to it since I read of it last year.

Meh, I play guitar too...I don't focus as much as you do on drums, I'd bet you are better.

lunch998 02-02-2005 02:57 PM
Meh, I play guitar too...I don't focus as much as you do on drums, I'd bet you are better.
I was going to say that I thought guitar was your primary instrument, so maybe it distracts from your drumming. I have no musical ability, so I can focus all on drums :p

-Obscurity- 02-02-2005 03:00 PM
I've only been playing ~2 years.
I played drums for 2 years, joined a band as a guitarist for a year, then a different band as a bassist for another year. Now I have come back to drums and stuck with it for 2 years, I don't plan on switching again. I still play guitar/bass, but my priority is drums. I did find that learning melodic instruments really helped my drumming though, and gave me a much better understanding of music in general.

Arucard 02-02-2005 03:06 PM

I have played drums for 3 years and guitar for a year and a half. I gig on drums regulaly, but i have more passion for guitar, and everyone says im better on guitar than i am on drums.

Eitri Is Berserk 02-02-2005 03:17 PM

Oh were talking about how long we've played insturments? Bass.. for a little over a year.

munky_magik 02-02-2005 03:18 PM

Sax for 6 years.
Guitar for 4.

/bandwagon

SofaKing713 02-02-2005 03:21 PM

Drums for 2 years now. I used to play guitar when I was 8 but I gave that up. I like playing drums better.

Arucard 02-02-2005 03:27 PM

I have decided that Arsis are emo kids trying to get out of their melodic death cage.

'I cry, for my dreams are in you.'

ITS THE USED!

jpj 02-02-2005 03:34 PM

Yea, but no one can tell what they're saying anyay, and they are much more enjoyable to listen to.
