Listening to the new gridlink now and it's amazing. Seriously the best thing we could have asked for from the remains of DA. Prob gonna be my grindcore album of the year, but I haven't really listened to the new Wormrot yet.

Wow, it's nice that Jon's more diverse with his voxs on Orphan, where he was kinda samey on their debut.

Nah, you are probably right. They are trying to take up IW's mantle, and they do have the talent to do so.

And Jon gets better with age.

Ya, I agree, they have the talent to do so. It was weird cuz I haven't listened to IW in almost 2 years I guess, but when I heard the new WR - some of the grunts some almost identical to the grunts found on IW's split with Nosebleed - it was almost nostalgic.

Jon's a grind God. It's kinda a pitty he never really dove into the whole grind scene.

yah i'd definitely agree with you. there are a few bands that are sounding like IW nowadays, which im liking a lot (cellgraft as justin mentioned is one of them, though cellgraft isnt as good as wormrot).

been spinning in disgust recently too, and i'd say they also in a way filled in the IW void - they've got that whole fuck you we hate you attitude going that IW did so well. too bad they're split up now too.
