enjoyed gridlink more than i thought i would, obv nowhere near as good as disordance axis though.
|
Listening to the new gridlink now and it's amazing. Seriously the best thing we could have asked for from the remains of DA. Prob gonna be my grindcore album of the year, but I haven't really listened to the new Wormrot yet.
Wow, it's nice that Jon's more diverse with his voxs on Orphan, where he was kinda samey on their debut. |
still dont like gridlink
new pd will prob end up being a disappointment |
new wormrot isnt really any different from the first LP, not that that's a bad thing
very solid band |
still dont like gridlink
it sounds the same as DA... |

|
yeah, i love them tbh
it's like listening to new DA releases |

|

|
amazing
|
so i did check the new drugs of faith album and it's actually really good
|
oh shit
|
So Gridlink's newest is gonna be my grind AOTY. I'd love to see them come to Toronto but that'd neva happen :( Was anyone else just blown away by Jon's vox on Orphan - he has that spazz Mappy loves, while also being insanely brutal; he just dominates two ends of the spectrum perfectly.
I haven't listen to much of the new Wormrot, but am I tripping out when I say that it seems like they're trying to take up Insect Warfare's mantle? |
Nah, you are probably right. They are trying to take up IW's mantle, and they do have the talent to do so.
And Jon gets better with age. |
Ya, I agree, they have the talent to do so. It was weird cuz I haven't listened to IW in almost 2 years I guess, but when I heard the new WR - some of the grunts some almost identical to the grunts found on IW's split with Nosebleed - it was almost nostalgic.
Jon's a grind God. It's kinda a pitty he never really dove into the whole grind scene. |
cellgraft sounded a shitload like iw

in disgust is ridiculously heavy
|
great band
I've been listening to the latest Rotten Sound and it's pretty good. |
listened to their new thingy a couple days ago and i still think they are p boring
|
still haven't listened to cycles bc of the gayest cover art ever
|
