It tends to be difficult to contact people who don't want to be contacted. Honestly, there are community threads everywhere. If somebody hasn't posted their contact info and you still have some burning desire to ravage them textually, you can ask in there. Otherwise, you may have to accept the possibility that they don't like you.
Weird, this makes sense. |
I don't get it, what's all the fuss about, rep wasn't actually that useful anyways
|
not everyone is using AIM/MSN/ICQ/Skype ... there are problems if you want to contact someone.
my aim is anewsetofxlungs |
who cares
really?
says the kid too cool for an avatar
I don't get it, what's all the fuss about, rep wasn't actually that useful anyways
Rep was pretty much the equivalent of how big your dong is online, so it's very important. |
plus it worked like pms

|
hey, been a few years since i've been on here...
question-does the recommendations thread still exist, and if so, do people still post regularly? or is there another thread i should go? |

knowing R&M, i'd get barbecued for making a recommendations thread....
|
you'd get a heap of unhelpful responses, just the same as if you asked in an existing thread
|
is there anyway i can get this as my avatar?
it doesnt need to be this big but considerable size would be nice :) sorry if this is the wrong place to post this :( http://www.surrealists.co.uk/Dali/SalvadorDali-TheVisageofWar.jpg |
There is a limit on avatars now.
|
how so? i've never asked for one so excuse my ignorance
|
Jeremy limited them when took away rep. Like he put an actual limit that mods can't bypass.
|
how much is that?
200x200? |
yea, how come people like guitrguy and timjim have massive avatars i can only get 50x50?
|
Jeremy limited them when took away rep. Like he put an actual limit that mods can't bypass.
No, he didn't limit them. The new upgrade to VBulletin did. He installed a mod to increase the size, but it's still limited to 170x200 or something. |
we wrote a paragraph a long time ago
|
yea, how come people like guitrguy and timjim have massive avatars i can only get 50x50?
Because they haven't changed theirs since the upgrade. |
Jeremy limited them when took away rep. Like he put an actual limit that mods can't bypass.
so 200x200 is the biggest that they can give out? im fine with that and im sure its because they've had their avatars for a while now and even if jeremy puts up new parameters doesnt mean he can just take away what they already had. i think... edit: so is there any way i can just get this in the biggest size you're able to give out? or antyhing you're willing to give me? The gossip train on MX is hardly a reliable source.

But hey, since we're bringing up the past for no reason, let me post your club's position on the ladder at the end of the season from 2002-2006. 2002 - 10th 2003 - 9th 2004 - 15th 2005 - 14th 2006 - 11th Looks like you guys finally had a lucky break. Pity the Crows always choke near the end of a season. For the people who don't follow AFL, there are 16 teams in the competition. Also, the first official game played by the Crows in the AFC: 22 March, 1991 - Adelaide 24.11 (155) d Hawthorn 9.15 (69) :) |
Swans  with the exception of the collingwood game the other day...

It's spelt hiccup, monkey, and you're from the arsehole of Australia. :)
Oh, and two premierships from 17 years is statistically more significant than 8 from 82. :) EDIT: It's all in good fun, mate. |

And Melbourne's the only place to come from. I've always said, you can tell when Aussie metal's from Melbourne cos you can't dance to it! And its more like 9. 9 in 30 or 8 in 20 or 7 in 15 :) |
