Oh. No, it was just that Sinead O'Connor started playing as I started typing a response.

Morning all.

/9:28pm
Ha, awesome!

Speaking of which, who's that girl guitarist who does all the Michael Hedges and Leo Kottke tapping stuff, whose primary influences are all the Windham Hill guitar players? I've been trying to remember her name forever. It begins with a "K" I think.

jpj 01-20-2005 03:35 PM

Bartender, can you tell whether a rep was positve or negative because I forget what my rep was before this? Someone left a comment calling me a hippy fag, and I just wanna know if it was a friend joking around or a douche bag.

I can't tell, no, but you should be able to, by clicking the rep box under your name on the post in question. It should tell you if your reputation on that post is positive or negative.

I can tell you it's the same guy who negative repped Badmoon with the comment about the Grateful Dead sucking, though.

jpj 01-20-2005 03:39 PM

Oh, I forgot about that :p If it was that guy then it was probably negative.

Bartender 01-20-2005 03:39 PM

I think Badmoon would probably know that. Shame he isn't here.

Keller Williams? If that's the name then he's a guy not a girl.

I clicked on the rep thing on that post and it said it was even.

Kingofdudes 01-20-2005 03:41 PM

The Fonz 01-20-2005 03:43 PM

Then that probably means they have too little rep to affect your post properly, or they just have negative rep themselves. I think.

jpj 01-20-2005 03:46 PM

Yea, well I figured he wouldn't have too much rep being the asshole that he is.

munky_magik 01-20-2005 03:47 PM

I think the guy who started "The Guitar Thread" tried to neg rep me, but I don't think he'll actually affect anyones rep for a Long time.

LordDargon 01-20-2005 03:57 PM

I start trends...and mine was supposed to generate questions since no one else knows the band..and tis a dam.n good CD imo.

Bartender 01-20-2005 05:23 PM

Well I though it was Rick Wakeman (who I know, but not very well), Bill Bruford (who I know and like - One of a Kind is a great album), Steve Howe (who may or may not be a real person, it's just what springs to mind) and some guy called Andersen. So I just assumed it was some proggy supergroup, and left it at that :)

Yes...as it happens, it is Yes without Chris Squire, essentially, and is quite good. Steve Howe is a terribly underrated guitarist/musician, and Jon Anderson is the vocalist.

Bartender 01-20-2005 05:53 PM

Well that shows how well I know Yes :(

Congratulations on hitting 5,000, again, by the way.
