Radiohead and Liars in 4 hours woooot

fishbulb 05-11-2008 01:33 PM
Hahaha, that really sucks Janeway. And fishbulb, you are not the only person unemployed and broke.
I do have some money (maybe $550?) but i'd like to save most of it since i have no source of income right now.
Radiohead and Liars in 4 hours woooot
My friend bought tickets to a Radiohead concert but i don't know what date it is. Probably the same tour, though.

_Wrathchild_ 05-11-2008 02:06 PM

I am employed but still broke :(. Since it was just my birthday I got some money, but I spent it on booze and much needed new clothing and a present for my mom. I still need a new pair of jeans though because I'm down to 2 pairs. I have about $200 left now but I'm trying to save it.

In june/july though my term deposits are coming due and I will have lots of moniez and will likely buy a car since I don't have to use it for tuition now. Plus I'll be starting a summer job hopefully and working more hours so I will make some more money.

Berk 05-11-2008 02:07 PM
this makes no sense. Its mothersday, my mom was showered with gifts but she still somehow is a major bitch. Even more bitchier than normal
Well, your still her son, right?

Berk 05-11-2008 02:53 PM

fishbulb 05-11-2008 02:54 PM

Ha, nice one Pink.

And Berk, do you actually plan on wearing those out in public?

EDIT: Post 8988.

ace76543 05-11-2008 02:55 PM

they're pretty gay tbh

Janeway 05-11-2008 03:07 PM

Hmfffdmdmdm...

I just wish someone would write a good, wanky fantasy series with lesbians in it. I mean, it doesn't have to be all lesbians, but one nice, sweet lesbian side story would be enough.

I'm debating whether to start A Clash of Kings or LOTR, anyways.

Win A Rabbit 05-11-2008 03:39 PM

does anyone need a poster designed for an upcoming gig? i'll do it for free.

i'm thinking of starting up a little design "business" for posters and merch and stuff, figured i should start out doing some free stuff to get a little portfolio going.

There was some fantasy series I read last summer that had a gay couple in it. I forget the name of it, but I can go find it if you are REALLY interested.

Berk what kinda ink are you using for those shirts, I was thinking about making a hat using a similar method.

I concur.

fishbulb 05-11-2008 06:55 PM

It would be fun for the whole family!

Fuzzy 05-11-2008 07:04 PM

Bwahahaha

Dream Theater, Opeth, 3, and BTBAM on the 27th!
The Eagles on the 21st! Yeah!

Berk 05-11-2008 07:13 PM

1 out 3 fails for the 27th show.

Panopticon 05-11-2008 07:19 PM

too bad theres 4 bands playing...learn2math

i've seen DT twice, im seeing opeth and 3 on the 24th and i saw btbam on april 3rd, so i figured it was pointless to go to prog nation.

Berk 05-11-2008 07:26 PM

iamjoe2 05-11-2008 07:29 PM

Blasphemy, the more shows, the better, even if it's the same band. durr.

fishbulb 05-11-2008 08:09 PM

I've seen DT once, i'd like to see Opeth if they only played songs from Damnation, and i haven't heard of the other bands.

give me some ideas on what you guys want, and i'll go from there.

normally i do stuff that would be more applicable to "indie" bands, so none of my pre-made ones really fit what you guys are probably looking for.

Harrow 05-11-2008 08:47 PM

I've seen DT once, I liked seeing them PLAY live, although I couldn't stand Portnoy's antics. Oh, and I couldn't stand the fans, DT has the nerdiest lamest fans on earth.

Harrow 05-11-2008 08:52 PM

Oh and I just wrote a 3 page informal essay on Immanuel Kant's philosophy in only 2 hours, damn I'm getting fast at this!

You be crazy.

NewMetman 05-11-2008 09:02 PM

I curse my dad for seeing dream theater back in 2003 when they were opening for yes and not bringing me. He didn't think i would like their style

Your dad tried to save you. I'd not go to that concert if offered a ticket, I don't think.

Fifteen in 5 hours. It's all about long quotes and discussing them ad nauseum.

NewMetman 05-11-2008 09:21 PM

Not even for yes? I'm a moderate fan of dream theater, but with Yes playing as well, it would be an instant buy for me to go

TimJim 05-11-2008 09:24 PM

Seafroggys 05-11-2008 09:31 PM

Came back from a weekend at the lady's place. Pretty fun. I tried to keep her on track with all the things she has planned, since it never happens (due to us cuddling for hours at a time or, ahem, other things).

I checked back here 2-3 times waiting for Mr Pink's announcement, but I don't even find out until I get home :p
