Siouxsie & the Banshees - Hyæna

Pop-punk by the bucketload.

YDload 08-04-2006 01:03 AM

Wooo Embrace is awesome! Great post-punk/emo band, Ian MacKaye always knows some good bassists to play with.

Matt? 08-04-2006 01:08 AM
I hate how there's some crap britpop band named Embrace that gets me confused.
And yet THEY are the first result on allmusic.com! It's a travesty. I'm sure this means I would love Fugazi as well, but I'm not quite ready to jump to them yet. Embrace is good enough for now.

Argh I have another dead pixel on my laptop screen now. It's a white one in the middle of the screen; I already have a red one off to the left that's been bugging me for about a year and now this :(

Matt? 08-04-2006 01:17 AM

fugazi is way better.

i mean think about it

Ian MacKaye owns.

but Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto...
I've been diggin' my avatar.
I've been digging that like every morning this week. It's so short that I have time to listen to it before school. The first song has like the coolest riff ever.

I went out with my friend tonight and we listened to The Streets, The Futureheads, covers of songs by The Cure and some other things. I also had a nap to Xiu Xiu this afternoon. That was pretty cool. Listening to Beck now.

ATM 08-04-2006 10:01 AM

Strange, my friend said the same thing the other day. She's been going without sleep but constantly listening to the mountain goats for the past couple days.

It's pretty much a truism. Especially for the older stuff.

Current listening:

Lithops - Queries
The Smiths - The Smiths

Lithops is one of the dudes from Mouse on Mars. Neat little ambient album.

ATM 08-04-2006 06:10 PM

ATM 08-04-2006 10:43 PM

Your face is a bad song.

masada 08-04-2006 10:45 PM

My face is pretty much a bad movement in suck minor.

br3ad_man 08-04-2006 10:49 PM
Ya there is.
What then? The only not so good song is "We Suck Young Blood" but even that's still pretty good.

3. Sail To The Moon (Brush The Cobwebs Out Of The Sky)
4. Backdrifts (Honeymoon Is Over)
5. Go To Sleep (Little Man Being Erased)
6. Where I End And You Begin (The Sky Is Falling In)
7. We Suck Young Blood (Your Time Is Up)
8. The Gloaming (Softly Open Our Mouths In The Cold)
9. There There (The Bony King Of Nowhere)
