Yeah man that was on The Lock Up which is meant to be our weekly dose of punk on the radio, but since they moved it back (it used to be on something like 1-3am, now it's 9-11pm so primetime) they have started playing a lot of emo and mainstream stuff. Bad bad bad.

In my (incredibly humble) opinion, Capdown, AFI, At The Drive In, Nirvana, Prodigy, and Jimmy Eat World shouldn't have been in there at all. Bands like Sex Pistols, if they had to be in there, should have had less songs, or at least better songs. The songs they put in by Clash and Ramones and stuff, were the really overplayed overrated songs, which is stupid. When I heard that Green Day - American Idiot was at number 8, I nearly fell off my chair laughing.

I was listening to it with a bunch of punk friends at the time, and I've never heard "cunt" said so many times in a couple of hours, it was just wrong. A few of them emailed Mike Davies (presenter of the show) about it and he sent emails back saying "Tell me about it. It was voted for on the website. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the list...". He stopped Prodigy playing at number 4 and said "I can't do it" and played The Exploited instead, and yet he let Nirvana play :confused: Dude seriously Prodigy is a ton more punk than Nirvana.

Also, he played Minor Threat and Black Flag at the start of the show and said "These didn't get into the top 30" and we were all like "Oh god, what have they voted for...". My friend Alex was actually one of the "punk experts" they asked to help compile the short list that people voted on on the website, but he nominated Snuff a lot and they weren't even in there :lol:

Last night he redeemed himself a little, by playing UK Subs, Crass, Discharge, GBH, and Conflict all in a row. Then he finished with Dead Kennedys - California Uber Alles, apparently it didn't get into the top 30 because of vote-rigging or something (we all said at the time that if Holiday In Cambodia was in there, then why the hell wasn't California Uber Alles. Such a cool song.

They also played Howards Alias and one of the new NOFX songs last night so I was happy :cool:

Feasable option, In the graphics design buisness, preferably withing music, desigin punk, pop-punk etc albums covers, posters, tee shirt designs, etc etc. Most of my graphics work so fr has been punk based, i hope that helps.
