What exactly is mono? I've been vaguely aware of it for years, but I don't know really what it is, and I'm too lazy to go look it up when I have someone with first hand knowledge here to help me out.
Well 666 is the number of the beast, as everyone knows. I'm not positive what the avatar means...it's an eye surrounded by waves of musical notation, bracketed by the triangle with the three sevens.
Well yes, we all do know three 6's is the number of satan, but what most don't know is three 7's are known to be the number of god. "And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine year. The Sevens of God can also be observed in the things of Nature. It appears that the physics and chemistry of nature are structured on such a base system. An example that almost everyone can relate to is Music. All the songs you hear on the radio are based on a musical system of just seven major notes. ... Your avatars message= Music is God. |

Mononucleosis. Caused by the little bastard known as the Epsteinn-Barr virus. Its symptoms include extreme fatigue, extreme aching, exhaustion, and hives(of the severe allergic reaction variety). It also causes your liver to inflame and increase its cleansing activity causing your spleen to swell. If you get a blow to the stomach, your swollen spleen could rupture and you could experience severe complications fairly immediately. Oh yeah, and the sore throat you get is a sight to see. It was the throat that brought me to the doctor: I looked at it in the mirror and it had white growths on it, which made me rather irrationally but no less seriously think I had cancer. Only then I find out I have mono after my treatment for strep throat did not come out positive. It's called the kissing disease because it's not very easily transferrable except by trading of fluids, but my girlfriend never had and still does not have mono. Therefore, I'm convinced my roommate got it and transferred it to me before it did anything to him, since you can also get it by living in very close contact with one another. (He sleeps directly adjacent to me) Did I mention that it sucks? |
Thanks! I wish I knew that before...I admit it, I'm one of those "uhhh....picked it cause it looked cool" people. But now that I know, I'm even happier that I picked it because it's somewhere along the lines of what I feel about music. Very nice deduction.
EDIT: To LizzySkInyrd. |
Did I mention that it sucks?
No. I got that general impression, though :) Are you all cleared up now? |
Yeah, I am. I'm just angry because to me, an illness as potentially serious as mono needs to be diagnosed, and the fact that Health Services at my school moved so atrociously slowly that I couldn't even get it diagnosed makes me very irritated. That's unnacceptable.

:-/ Yeah, it is. Did they take 7 hours and 15 days?
|
Ehhh, no, but an hour and a half with a five-person line and only one person gets in in the time that I'm waiting, and then I had class, so I had to leave, and they "weren't taking appointments that day" so I couldn't even get in earlier had I come back.
Did that little episode of yours happen? |
Last day of classes and tommorrow finals start. I'm gone for lunch

New flame competition!
Go bust out your best shiny new flames on that idiot asking about session guitar. Does he need to be able to move his fingers to play the guitar, do you think, or can he do it with his penis? |
I play my skin flute well...

OMGZ phag!

Meh...I won that thread.

When you can answer it, i will give you pi.

Cheese stinks, therefore it is.
|
No.
If I think, and therefore am, and cheese is, then does cheese think, or is thought not the only test of being? |
I meant that. Of course. Damn typos.
|
Meh, it still doesn't answer the question, since there remains the question of prerequisites of being...

Tommorow is the last day of the semester. I can't wait to get out of French, I hate that class so bad.
