I just googled "basic scientology beliefs" and got all kinds of weird crap. I wont go into it but if you want to read about it it's all there. The sites look...cultish. Oh and "Scientology" is a registered trademark apparently. But it seems to be just another reincarnation cult that is "more about research about life than actual beliefs" or something like that. There you go. :)

Jake- That he's....dead and therefore not getting rich, currently.

Does anyone have Bill Hicks stuff saved on comp?

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 10:14 PM

It's basically a cult disguised as a legit organized religion.

36- You get what I meant. :p

The most awful thing they did was convince a secretary of the WTC on 9/11 to join them. Talk about taking advantage of a person's emotions.

I will upload Relentless at some stage. Probably when I have more internet credit.

The Patient intro for The Lateralus Code
This has Mantra and Eon Blue Apocalypse layered over the intro, and I've also left the transition to Schism at the end.

And here's a couple of Cog tracks for you all. From what I've noticed, most people who like them are also pretty big Tool fans.
Cog - Bondi
Cog - Stretch
Cog - Real Life
Cog - Naming The Elephant

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 10:59 PM

Sweet. I'll check out The Lateralus code bit, Bondi and Stretch, Which EP are the 2 from?

dUSK 07-16-2005 11:04 PM

Bondi is from Just Visiting Part One.
Stretch is from Just Visiting Part Two.

Every track from the EP's are available for download at http://www.sounds-like-lies.tk under the Media section.

I can upload the entire thing upon request. Although it will probably have to wait until I get Relentless up as well.

Thanks very much man. I've been looking for that forever, I asked for it about a month ago, and no one had the version AJIG made.
Great job on Eulogy, by the way. It's not that hard to play, but I watched the vid and you did a great job anyway.
That cover of eulogy was awsome. :thumb:

Magicaltroll 07-17-2005 12:08 AM

That cover of Eulogy was ok. The lack of vocals REALLY took away from the... goodness, of the cover.

Huber 07-17-2005 12:18 AM

I agree, I felt like screaming "SOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOONG!!!!!" everytime the chorus started.

Magicaltroll 07-17-2005 12:27 AM

Yeah, vocals are pretty much required if you want a Tool cover to not be boring.

denboy 07-17-2005 06:20 AM

I disagree, watching matter play the thing in his sleep, weighed out the lack of vocals.. Heheh

Edit:
You could be the one
To save me from
My own existence

I was so sure that I'd sin and you'd pay too
I'm just glad you knew me enough to allow me
to always sit by you
So mad since you stopped giving all your commands
You weren't too mad when he called you
Your mind is helpless

^^
I think that's the mumbled part in eulogy.. I can't remember, it's been a while since I heard the song since I can't find my copy of Ænema

Well if you know anyone who can actually sing on key and scream without thier voice cracking like a adolescent teen I'd love to have some killer vocals on that track. :thumb:

Here, here!

Anyway, yeah, Eulogy was about L. Ron Hubbard. Danny said so in a radio interview after Ænima was released.
