Talking Heads - Talking Heads: 77
Talking Heads - More Songs About Buildings And Food Man, these DualDisc re-releases sound great.
They really do. The new stereo DVD mix of More Songs... gives it a vitality it never had. |
The new mix gives it a much fuller sound than the semi-dull original recording, but if you're not already a fan of the album I don't think it'd sway your opinion.
|
Yeah, if that was a big problem you had with the original you'll enjoy the re-release a lot more. I'm sure you can find an enhanced version on soulseek or something.

Cult of Luna - s/t

Please tell me that's from Space Ghost. But don't tell me that if it's not. It's just a saying man, you don't have to take it so seriously. |
Radiohead - Towering Above the Rest
Really, really good. It's amazing that these are only b-sides.
\m/ I love it too. As for me, I'm diggin the Dresden Dolls and the Pixies, with a little Built to Spill on top. |
with a little Built to Spill on top.
I'm really getting into Built To Spill. They do a great version of Cortez The Killer by Neil Young. |
I need to hear that. That's one of my favorite Neil tunes.
Nice avatar. Smithers: They aren't booing, they're saying Boo-urns! Somebody else: No we are definantly booing Hans Moleman: I was saying Boo-urns... |

Mischief Brew Erik Petersen Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers The Big Boys |
Dresden Dolls, Dillinger Escape Plan and Isis

Some old Trail of Dead stuff from Madonna and their S/T. "A Perfect Teenhood" (or is it "Lonely?" I forget!) is a really good song.
Also, HORSE the band :) |
Their keyboard player looks like Napolean Dynamite.
Radiohead - Towering Above the Rest
Really, really good. It's amazing that these are only b-sides.
What the heck is this and where the hell can I get my hands on it? I just picked up At Folsom Prison and At San Quentin (the re-released versions) so I'm digging Folsom at the moment. Go Johnny Cash. |
Pulse Ultra - Headspace
Its alright, interesting to hear stephen richard's voice before he went to taproot. |
Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska
I just got this today as well. I don't like much of The Boss' stuff that sounds like "Born in the USA," but this is just plain awesome. |
The Fall
Mission of Burma Swans Tindersticks Squirrel Bait That's my week. |
Yeah, I kinda researched a little bit and found out that it is a massive huge thing that i can't possibly dowlonad on a modem connection. This makes me sad. Being the Radiohead fanboy that I am.
I believe that warrants a :( |
The Dresden Dolls - The Dresden Dolls
This is really an amazing album. |
EDIT: ^It's alright.
I've been re-listening to Solomon Burke, since the episode of House I had last night finished with one of his best songs playing. Also been listening to Coliseum - loud and fast and pointless, so that's all very excellent - and little bits (various songs) from what Blackalicious stuff I have (A2G EP, Blazing Arrow and The Craft). |
De La Soul and Wolf Parade for most of today.
