Freezing Moon 10-22-2005 07:50 PM

I play the guitars with 6 strings.

/Schecter and a Jackson Kelly.

I want to start thrash band over the internet, anyone interested? My contact info is in my profile.

RCA 10-22-2005 07:51 PM

I mainly play a Jackson Soloist.

Metallion#666 10-22-2005 07:52 PM

I would be willing to do a side project.
Where are u hailing from?

RCA 10-22-2005 08:13 PM

I'm interested, though we'd have to talk about how we'd get everything together.

We can all sent it back and forth, working on it bit by bit.

It wouldn't be all that difficult. The hard part would be that as we wrote it we'd need to tab it out.

That wouldn't be hard if we tabbed it on GuitarPRO or Powertab.

FatalEnergy 10-22-2005 08:23 PM

That's still not even that difficult, the hard part is coming up with the riffs and doing the mixing

I've got both :)

Terrorzone 10-22-2005 08:25 PM

I'm a drummer, I would be interested.

Hell yeah. :)

Do you have AIM, MSN, or Soulseek?

I don't have powertab or gp, but if you guys can export it out into some kind of document that works for me.

I think they're making a mac version soon.

/kicks computer.

FatalEnergy 10-22-2005 08:41 PM

Yeah, we can export the Tab File and a MIDI

Terrorzone 10-22-2005 08:42 PM

My s/n is ThrashtilDeath15.

And Jeff Loomis uses Schecter too... I've been on such a Nevermore kick lately. I'd love to see him do a death side project, or maybe even a thrash one. :D

I'd write some stuff with you guys, though I don't typically write thrash... very well at least, as much as I love it. Maybe a solo spot or two?

NP: Krabathor - Dead Hate Screaming

ThrashMaster27 10-22-2005 10:25 PM

I'll not take part, but I will be interested to hear finished results.

So yeah, I'm listening to Municipal Waste. The singer is harder to understand than Sean Killian's drunk bastard style.

superflyjojo 10-22-2005 10:41 PM

I'm in a thrash band and I love making long thrash epics. Right now my band has two, ones like 10 mins and the others about 15 mins. But all together we have like 15 original songs and we are playing a show in early December to debut the 15 min epic.

The Gates Of Heaven 10-23-2005 12:53 AM

I'm not up for this, but I'd be interested to hear it, and I strongly advise using Guitar Pro as oppose to powertab. If anybody wants the full version of Guitar Pro, I will be happy to supply them with it.

DimebagDarrell 10-23-2005 02:16 AM

i want the full version of guitar pro that would be great.

I tried to make some songs using powertab and the distorted guitar is awful lol.

Oh and Helstar rule :thumb:

The Gates Of Heaven 10-23-2005 03:52 AM

Well Guitar Pro has the same sound effects as Powertab, but you can add more tracks and it has drums.

Jeff Waters said that the new Annihilator was going to be "pure thrash", and that was the biggest lie I've ever heard. I listened to the new song "Maximum Satan" and it was pretty much mallcore. It was so Slipknot-ish it wasn't even funny

Bahahah.

The only Annihilator worth my time is Alice in Hell, and that is far over-rated anyway.

MAthiAS 10-23-2005 02:13 PM

Meh, never really 'got' much of Annihilator's stuff anyway.

I thought the same exact thing.

FatalEnergy 10-23-2005 05:12 PM

With a song title like "Maximum Satan" you would think it would be an unholy thrash fest like no other. Waters sucks.

NP: Believer - Trilogy of Knowledge: Movment III - The Key (Hell of a song title, huh?)

Where'd you hear it? Glad to hear Jeff Waters is still a poseur.

EDIT: I just heard it, and if they had a snare hit on beats 2 and 4 throughout the whole song and not just the last few seconds, it would be 100x more thrashy. Having just one snare per measure ruins that song. Oh, and whoever wrote that breakdown needs to be shot.

I have seen it a couple of places on forums. If you want to hear the utter suck fest, then let me know. :)

edit: oic, too late.

Thanks for that Demolition Hammer. This is some crazy/brutal stuff.
