Depends what you're into I guess. Their sound is hard to describe, just listen for yourself.

Their riffs are really melodic, kind of 'fun and catchy' for lack of better terminology. On paper it seems like they'd be bland but they're awesome.

The riffs are sappy. The overall sound is pretty melodic but not the good kind (e.g. Demigod).

I guess sappy is a good word to describe it lol. They're in no way at all 'dark'.

Arghoslent makes some good music.

I think it's hilarious though--their lyrics are a complete contradiction to the fact that they use the most blues influence I've heard in a metal band in a long time. It makes me wonder whether the whole thing is a ruse.

i havent really heard a whole lot of 'blues influence' in their music except for some of the solos

maybe thats just me though

They improvise on all their solos. So when you hear their solo's live, they are never the same.

Ok, bands that actually put effort into making their music. 90% (yes, I pulled that figure out of my ***) of DM is poopty because of the generic qualities that often stem from the genre, sort of like black metal. Sure, Arghoslent aren't anything OMG UNIQUE THIS HAS NEVER BEEN DON'T B4, but they are good at what they do, which is blend good lyrics, engaging riffs and interesting songs together to make good albums, which sets them apart from most of the generic **** thats out there.
