The show here cost about $50 (way expensive even by Australian standards). I really only went because a friend wanted to go and he had never been to any shows before. They sounded pretty much exactly the same as on cd. I don't love them or anything to begin with so it was just...not that great.

I met Evan (big80smullet / free the paedos) at a minus the bear show in February. Good times.

Heres a video from the show I was at:http://youtube.com/watch?v=jmq2labjAwc

You suck.

Bukowski 04-02-2008 01:44 PM

I have been unemployed for ages, living off of money from my college bursary fund. It is good being a slacker, but the time has come where I need a job badly. It's just there are few places I'm willing to work at. I worked at a call centre for 5 months before college and it was the worst thing I've ever done, but i did have money. Neva again though.

but i do wanna have money for starting uni so...

neoteric, i think we've been to 2 of the same shows....Melvins/Flipper/BB and Sonic Youth. If it weren't for you being so young it'd have been more though :p

If you're uneducated looking for a steady paycheck, you can't expect to be doing something you love to make money. You gotta just buckle down and get a well-paying job. Work construction or at a used bookstore. But don't be a fucking chump about it and whine if you don't like it.

That looks really cool. I do suck, but I'm broke.

On the bright side, my friend said his uncle can do my car's "inspection" for 20 bucks. I don't even have to bring it to him, he'll just give me the stickers.

sucks that i missed this.

Bukowski 04-02-2008 01:50 PM

overreact much Kage?

You're reading too much into this. I am not whining, I am merely stating that I hated my previous job and won't do anything like it again. It is an observation.

Anxious 04-02-2008 01:51 PM

I went from a pathetic idiot without anything out of high school to working 30+ hours a week, buying my own car, paying for everything except rent, full time schedule at a university and I still make it to 90% of the shows I want to go to.

Just bite the bullet.

samariah 04-02-2008 01:51 PM

oh boy

Kage 04-02-2008 01:51 PM

That's cool I wasn't trying to be aggressive. It's just the fact of the matter.

samariah 04-02-2008 01:52 PM

see, im going to be working this awesome job this summer and i'm uneducated relatively so im happy

Neoteric 04-02-2008 01:53 PM

Bukowski 04-02-2008 01:54 PM

I was, if it's the one with Islaja supporting. I didn't know you were at that one.

I would if I had a ride. I mean I have some money, but I'm trying to conserve.

seamantis 04-02-2008 01:54 PM

I will make my money from music or lottery. No other source is worth it.

Neoteric 04-02-2008 01:56 PM
I was, if it's the one with Islaja supporting. I didn't know you were at that one.
yeah i was there.

Anxious 04-02-2008 01:56 PM

Islaja and Marrisa Nadler should be hot, but they're not.

samariah 04-02-2008 01:56 PM

i don't need to make much money, thats not my end goal. i don't think i want a car ideally. i want to live on my bike.

Liebensaft 04-02-2008 01:58 PM

I'm gonna get a yard sale bike really soon. I want to ride until my buns are steel this summer.

Kage 04-02-2008 01:58 PM
i don't need to make much money, thats not my end goal. i don't think i want a car ideally. i want to live on my bike.
I don't want a fuckin car either.

Neoteric 04-02-2008 01:59 PM

cars are mad expensive to just own.

taxes and ****.

Bukowski 04-02-2008 01:59 PM
That's cool I wasn't trying to be aggressive. It's just the fact of the matter.
yeah, what you said is true. But to me, whining about a job you dislike, uneducated or not, hardly makes you a "fucking chump". As long as you're working towards something better, I guess.

My priorities mean I do need to knuckle down and bite the bullet now though, so that's fine.

samariah 04-02-2008 01:59 PM

biking as a means of transport is 100x better

Eliminator 04-02-2008 02:00 PM

i walk and ride my bike a lot

Anxious 04-02-2008 02:01 PM

Theres no way that a bike would be an acceptable form of transportation around here.

perriwinkle 04-02-2008 02:02 PM

i really wish my bike hadn't been stolen. i haven't told my dad yet, because he had just gotten like the last month and it was like $200

samariah 04-02-2008 02:02 PM

where do you live and why
