You have soft deleted and hard deleted. That one was hard deleted. Kacper was quite right, this isn't the Pit. It's bad enough that every moron and his dog is posting crappy pictures all over the community thread. I've deleted far more popular threads in my time on MX, and that was also when they were too full of idiocy to smelt out the slag from the gold.

I mean, it's not like those pictures were deleted forever from the internet. If it really bothers you, make a flickr account and post them all there so you can view them every day. You could even pass it off as your own photography if you're clever.

I'd wait until the constant downtime gets rectified. Changing your name on here will carry over to the review site, but there is a delay. Now, add to that delay the site's daily downtime and I personally think you'll get more grief than satisfaction. Tough it out.

great suggestion here, when users make new accounts have a profanity filter enabled for them automatically right then have an option to take the filter off in ur user cp once you know what profanity filter is or someshit that way its kept all legal and I dont have to deal with the stupid ****ing stars and words in place of words.
