That's awful. I wouldn't want to stick around for the ending either. I also wouldn't want little kids in the same room as a PRS I owned heheh :D
/kills thread again
im not the squeamish type either. After i saw that dude trying to put the deer's life out of misery, and he failed, that was enough for me. He repeatedly put his foot on the things neck so it wouldnt jump around and stuff |
It also makes you inclined to say really stupid things and do things that are equally if not more stupid.
One or two beers I have no problem with. But when someone gets totally shitfaced, I really don't want to be around them. So why would I do the same to myself?
That really depends from person to person, if someone is stupid and drinks a lot, sure they'll be even worse. But I don't say stupid things, even when I'm totally drunk, I can still control myself, I'll just be able to do/say things that I normally wouldn't have the guts to do. Not just stupid things, I've never done anything really stupid when drunk. Besides, I don't get myself absolutely wasted in public, only when I have to dance (I need alcohol to dance without feeling incredibly stupid) or when I'm just with a couple of friends or even alone, at home (:upset:)to watch a film and eat something good or whatever. I don't go to people and bother them, or make a lot of noise and be annoying, drunks that do that are annoying, yep. But they probably aren't much better sober. So, hooray, alcohol. |
in my existance...
theres a few personality TYPES that come about when people get drunk. Most of the time, in a party situation, if you arent drunk, people get annoying AS HELL |
Alcohol sometimes helps me be more sociable. Generally I'm pretty quiet around people I don't know too well, especially women.
in my existance...

actually, another drug helped me over come that  Thats a different discussion entirely
edit: im not annoyed with the drinkings, its the annoying-ness of these people when they are drunk |
That's the thing, there's different kinds of drunks. Some people get happy and overly-friendly. Some just get really giggley. Others get hateful and psychotic. Still others are just mellow.
More often than not, I end up dealing with the loud, obnoxious kind that think knowing my name makes them friends with me. They then forget that I don't want them to touch me when their breath is about 100 proof. |
i really dont have that much fun at "parties" anymore. They crowd is just not for me. Ive been there, done that.
|
Agreed. The crowd is mostly a competition between attention whores, the music usually sucks, and it's pointless trying to hold a conversation.
NP: Changes - David Bowie |
85% of the people at regular parties are pretty immature for the most part. If you are LUCKY, you find good conversation.
Normally, if its a "sausage party" all the guys hit on the few girls, and its just UGLY. I dont think it reflects well on man-kind  |
I've never been to such parties but I think they're not that common here. Bars and clubs (and something else that I cannot translate) is where most people go but never trust a pathetic loser who screw it up at his test today :whereisthecryingemoticonwhenyouneedit?!:

ur not missing much man
|
To be perfectly honest, most people annoy me, drunk or not. I don't even go to parties that often, just because I don't like the sort of people that are there. Once in a while, there will be a party where they will play rock or silly hits from the 80s or 90s, which is fun.
I'm more of a pub person and I also like just watching a movie at someone's place. I can totally understand that you get annoyed by those people. At the rare occasion that I go to a "normal" party, I'll get really annoyed by all these snobs jumping on tables for attention and whatnot, to the worst techno or RnB you have ever heard. But then I just drink more, 'til the point that I don't care. =) But yeah, people annoy me a lot, anyway, like I said, just by being themselves in public. The biggest part of young people act and dress and think and talk, ... the way they think it's trendy or cool and it just gets on my nerves, as I'm a very bitter man. People who get so annoying when they're drunk would probably annoy me just as much (okay, maybe a bit less) when they're sober. So don't blame the alcohol, blame the stupidity of the average person. Especially young people. God, I'm an old man. |
yea, ur pretty much 100% correct.
I cant stand people that blame the alcohol for their behavior "Oh, he's drunk, dont worry about him" I DO think alcohol intensifies the lunacy and idiocy. If im not drunk, i pick up on that sh!t more, and I find it more unbearable |
It's not really the alcohol I have a problem with. It's the behavior that results from too much of it. What pisses me off is that most of these people know what their limits are, but they blatantly disregard them for the sake of getting completely blasted.
|

yea, i know a few of those people actually. |

My mates are like that. It's okay because we only hang out round each other's houses but someone always takes it too far and walks out in the middle of the night or tries to hurt someone else seriously. That annoys me. |
I hate being around people who smoke. Especially the ones who think it's cool and walk down the street smoking.

how do you know they think they are  when doing so? they could be like me, and want to quit... |
None of my friends drink or smoke, and we don't go to parties. I prefer it that way.
|
i can respect that

I don't mind the smell, I just hate it when someone blows it in my face. |
I don't mind the smell, I just hate it when someone blows it in my face.
yea, jerks and smoking arent necessarily synonymous |
I hate being around people who smoke. Especially the ones who think it's cool and walk down the street smoking.
Tap-dancing Christ, I hate that. Smoking has got to be one of, if not the most disgusting habit on the planet. I would rather be around someone who goes to great lengths to glorify their own flatulence than someone who smokes. What really pisses me off is when they smoke around me, I start coughing because of the noxious fumes, and they have the nerve to glare at me. Dumbass, you're the one with the vile, odious, unhealthy habit. You have no room to complain. |
its funny how people descriminate smokers, instead of separating the considerate people from the A-holes

You want to quit, so you have my respect. Doesn't change the fact that 90% of the smokers I've ever known are unapologetic for their disgusting habit and have no intention of quitting ever. Hell, I've even met some people that say the Surgeon General's warning is made up. They also believe that if I don't like their smoking, I should be the one to change to accomodate them. People like that need to die of food poisoning. |
how do you know they think they are  when doing so?
they could be like me, and want to quit...
The kids who smoke it and pretend it's weed. We asked this one guy, why he did it, to which he replied, 'Cos it's cool, nothing you can do is it, Mosher?' |
idk man
being a non-smoker for 18, then starting up, then quitting, then starting up, then WANTING to quit <GASP> has really allowed me to see both sides of the coin edit: how can you pretend its weed? when i first started, i hit it like a J, but thats only because thats where my experience from smoking came from |

Yeh. Why is Greebo the new 'Insult' for us?
