Well, you could register another, temporary email address, and change the account's address to that one. I'm not sure if you could then change it back to your primary address afterwards, but at least it should be activated.

I got that too on second page threads. Just click on teh thread title, and then go to the last page to look at the last posts. Then it will be fine :)
