DoD is an amazing Maiden album. It's slightly funny...because you look at BNW and it's amazing, you look at DoD and it's amazing...the next album should be :amaze: :amaze: :amaze:

if they make full use of having 3 guitars the new album will be outrageously incredible

EDIT: and if Steve starts doing interesting basslines like the ones from ST and Killers

i think they should make a double album with songs like the ones from bnw and dod..........

nice acoustic soft songs like paschendale, journey man, no more lies on one cd and on the other have aweosme rock songs like rainmaker, wicker man and ghost of navigators

also think about it, st was amazing, killers was amazing, and NOTB was pure excellent with 5 cups full of brillaince.....i have high hopes for the next album

NW: maiden england bitches

Indeed, Steve needs to get some good basslines going again.

Paschendale was acoustic...

-The Frank 10-22-2005 09:07 AM

no, but it was like more softer then say rainmaker.

Depends on how you look at it though..but I get what your saying. The Clairvoyant from A Real Live/Dead One is awesome. At first I hated how the guitar sounded all washy at 0:40 into the song, but now I love it :)

andyhainey 10-22-2005 09:20 AM

i think the clairvoyant sounds good in all forms :D

ashman 10-22-2005 09:23 AM
i think the clairvoyant sounds good in all forms :D
It'd be better live if they did the little harmony in the solo...

-The Frank 10-22-2005 09:30 AM

haha right as i read andyhainys post about the clairvoyant , the clairvoyant came on maiden england

weird

andyhainey 10-22-2005 09:34 AM

i agree with ash, it would sound better. maybe more songs could have solo that are in harmony. or even in unison i.e. the trooper

-The Frank 10-22-2005 09:35 AM

meh as long as they play it, im happy

andyhainey 10-22-2005 09:36 AM

suppose, trooper is one of their most played songs, but if they didnt play any songs in harmony/unison, it just wouldnt be the same

ashman 10-22-2005 09:38 AM

Yeah...they got 3 guitars, make use of them good and proper I say...

-The Frank 10-22-2005 09:38 AM

true,

anyone else think they should strt mixing up their set list a bit....

of course only for their live cds/dvds

ashman 10-22-2005 09:40 AM
true,

What do you mean? They have to play the classics; Like HBTN, NOTB, Trooper, Run to The Hills and such, otherwise no one would be pitting...

andyhainey 10-22-2005 09:42 AM

but ofcourse, maybe they should have a maiden fan tribute album, like, have a vote from the public to have them play their best songs, and it doesnt matter what era its in

-The Frank 10-22-2005 09:42 AM
What do you mean? They have to play the classics; Like HBTN, NOTB, Trooper, Run to The Hills and such, otherwise no one would be pitting...
i mean, of course if i go to see a maiden concert i need to be able to hear HBTN, NOTB, Trooper, Run to The Hills, and such, but i also have 8 live cds/dvds with the same songs. Just for the live cds change it up a bit

andyhainey 10-22-2005 09:45 AM

-The Frank 10-22-2005 09:46 AM

andyhainey 10-22-2005 09:47 AM
