1. As far as the Leafs thing, I just plain don't like hockey. I'm Torontonian so I'm like, obligated to like them? But I really don't care. 2. I always had a great time watching my Leaf-fan friends get all emotional about their team sucking.
3. Maps And Atlases, let me check YouTube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXBDJA4BDJg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLjXMsYCKq0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lebs6ZrckkI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4AUNECD85M 4. And you'll get some of my music soon. News is that tracking is complete for our new album. Just mixing and mastering are left.
1 - gotcha. Yeah, that's totally fair. I see more and more folks shying away from hockey these days and to be honest I am too for the most part - it's become all about making the big leagues and making zillions of coins, and not about playing a game and having fun anymore. plus the new NHL just kinda sucks. 2 - yeah - I hate how pissy and petty people are about their teams. I understand loyalty and shit like that, but really, it's not that big a deal. My sister went to game two or three or something between Toronto and Philadelphia in Philadelphia in '04 with some friends and they were like the only Leafs fans in the whole building... the team ended up losing like 2-1 but when they had actually scored their lone goal one of her friends got up to cheer and this lady who had her kids with her and everything actually turned around and punched the dude right in the face... told him "if you cheer one more time for those bums, I'll fucking kill you." People just go way too hardcore with team loyalty sometimes. 3 - will czech it out soon's I get on some unrestricted internet tubes. 4 - Sounds awesome, I'm stoked! :thumb: |
Holy crap. I would've told that lady, "Listen up you old cunt, you touch me one more time and I'll break your fingers and shove your mangled hand up your ass."
|
Sometimes you just gotta choke a bitch.
|
Ain't that the truth. If it was me in the situation I would've just gone Juggernaut on her ass.
"Yeah, Imma rape you bitch! You ready, you ready, you ready, you ready? AAAAWWWWW CHARLES, YOU IN MAH HEAD!!!" ...sorry, guys. that's the kind of stuff the gang puts on when we decide to get the party on and get wrecked and whatnot. pimp smack yo'ass, bitch!1!11 |
And then turn to her kid and say, "Fuck you, son."
|
don't you know who i am?
|
I custom-made yo' suit!
|
Got my Pitchfactor. It is ridiculous. It's going to take me forever to learn to use it effectively, although we've already worked it into 4 songs.

Sup, bitches?

Saw that, and thank you in advance. Will czech it out as soon as I get on some internets that don't block file-sharing sites. :thumb: speaking of music. my band plays tomorrow night. |
Man, my wine should be coming in the mail any day now.
|
Wine in the mail? Cah-razy. What'dya order?
I really want to find a bottle of Glenfiddich 1937. |
Laws in the US prohibit wineries and vineyards to sell directly to individuals if they already distribute ANY of their wines in the individual's state. Unfortunately, most wineries and vineyards wont distribute most of their wines and they keep them exclusive for in-person purchases and Wine Club members.
I joined the Cosentino Vineyards wine club. Their winemaker is absolutely phenomenal at what he does. His wines are very unconventional in taste, almost like blends (smooth finish, very fruit-forward), but they are all incredibly delicious. I ordered a Bottle of the Estate Zin to surprise my girlfriend (best red zin I've ever had, bar none) and also a bottle of the Ol' Red and The Franc. Estate Zin: http://www.cosentinowinery.com/cosentino/catalog/view_product.jsp?product_id=1155&cat_id=1010 Ol' Red: http://www.cosentinowinery.com/cosentino/catalog/view_product.jsp?product_id=1138&cat_id=1010 The Franc: http://www.cosentinowinery.com/cosentino/catalog/view_product.jsp?product_id=1073&cat_id=1010 I'd love to find a bottle of Nagual del Judith, but owning it would make me look too much like a fanboy. Silly Maynard. |
Yeah if you ordered wine in the mail here some drongo would snap the bottle in half trying to fit it in your letter box.
|
I thought Maynard's wine was called Cadeaus or Merkin something?
I've been drinking a half bottle to bottle a night for a while now. Feel healthier from it too. Mostly Cab-Merlot, Merlots in the 2002 to 2005 age. |
A bottle of wine at night and a point of coke in the morning should keep you in tip top shape bro.
|
Welcome to working in Finance, baby.
|
You're a real rock'n'rolla Aaron.

It's my understanding that Merkin Vineyards are the actual vineyards he owns, but he contributes to all of the wines. Most winemakers will be a part of two or three different brands. Half a bottle a night is too much. You need to split a bottle over about 3 days. That much wine for long periods of time is not good for your liver. Ideally, you should have 3-4 drinks per week, and try to do an even split between beer and wine if possible. Beer is actually good for your bones and hair health, whereas wine is great for your heart and cholesterol. |
A busy next days for me.
Tonight I'm seeing this wicked local band called Teenage X. Tomorrow night I'm seeing Lou Barlow (bassist of Dinosaur Jr) play a show. And then on Wednesday is the mother of all shows... I'm seeing The Melvins. I'm so fucking stoked for that. |
Sounds grand, Spiff.
The gang and I take to the stage tonight and I'm ready to destroy. I couldn't get to sleep for like two hours last night because I'm so excited for this show. a bunch of the gang is coming down to get smashed and be ridiculous. It feels like Christmas. |

I mean, we could definitely pull it off now, but a couple more weeks and we'll be killing it. I can't wait to start playing live again. It's been since April, I think, since I last played a show. That's way too long. We've been busy recording and practicing with the new singer to get her ready, but it's still been awful going this long without a show. |
We're going through a dry spell right now... after playing a show every two weeks for almost 2 months, we've got nothing on the go. After losing a guitarist, we're using this time to re-work a bunch of our songs and then we've got a couple of gig opportunities to pursue.

What is gigging like in N.B.?

What the people of Toronto aren't thinking. ZING |
What is gigging like in N.B.?
We haven't made it out of the city yet, but in Fredericton it's okay... there are basically 3 regular music venues (one of which is the campus bar, so it's only open during the school year), and then there are some other odds and ends that sometimes have shows. But, we've played 5 shows since April, and made about $900, so it's not too bad. Good turnouts, usually, and receptive audience. |

ZING
Oooohhhhhhhhhh. Good one, dude. Well, I'll hold off on showing you people anything until it's mixed. I'm quite proud of this new album and can't wait for people to hear it. |
