Why are you guys so intent on whoring yourself for reps?? The whole point of rep is to earn you respect around the forum by true and meaningful posts that can stir someone, not to be an "3733t" or cool member of this forum. And on top of that, you beg for reputation points in public. I though you guys earned your reputation points like other people, but you just turned out to be big *** rep whores.
Might as well put under your name you REP WHORES Why are you guys so driven to get the 4 stars, especially when you AND EVERYONE ELSE knows you never earned them. |

Everyone... METALLICA.
Stop spamming about rep whoring. I'd never do that....... oh shi Does anyone else think it's annoying when Kirk over-uses his wah? |
whats your last name?
what's the big deal? do you guys need to go over it here? don't tell people first and last names and stuff online, you don't know who you can trust and who you can't
Why are you guys so intent on whoring yourself for reps?? I'd never do that....... oh shi Does anyone else think it's annoying when Kirk over-uses his wah?
ya, who was just rep whorring in community thread??? yes he does. there was an article about the top 10 guitarists with the worst tone and #3 was Kirk Hammett. Now that i really think about it, i can't remember a live solo without the wah pedal. He really uses it WAY too much. It really was cool when he was doing it with some songs, but when he got to live it just bothers me. He's great at the wah pedal, but is he good at playing his own solos without it? He did it to record, why won't he do it on stage??? |
look, is this scott K or not?

oh god back to this again?
Don't accuse me of going off topic "again" or fear having me recount all your un-metallica (or rep whoring) posts since the last time. Just answer the god-**** question seeing as how you barley talk about Metallica anyways eh? |
not reely sure, why dont u jus say so... holy sh*T

It's almost as though Kirk uses his wah, because he wants to make his solos sound cooler, as if they're not good enough for him. I could have done just as good of a doodle as he did when I saw him live, because he just did repeating patterns, and stomped on his wah pedel the whole time. |

Anyways, I loved Kirks intro solo to Fade to Black on the Germany, 1985 concert off Cliff 'Em All, that is how his guitar should sound. |

High speed dirt, and peace sells.

His solo's off Live **** are incredible. I've never known Kirk to shred because it doesn't fit Metallica (save some songs) but that was very skillfull. More of what we should hear during concerts, not random power chords. |

That could be possible. I think his solos are cool without the wah. He used to be much better. IMO. |

anyone from wood could of known that |

Is Cliff 'Em All just like S&M??? It's just a concert? Or is it like a bunch of Cliff concert footage? The Fade to Black solo from a few months ago was really amazing. It's the outro solo that bugged me. 1) i didn't hear a thing, damn top level 2) WAH PEDAL 3) why does he play a different solo every time? there's a reason it's rated 26 on the best solos ever, cuz it kicked ass. |

.... you were warned, but I don't see how you two can't get banned after this. Take our MSN chats away from here. Didn't we just have this 4 pages ago with gocap99?? |

That's cool, but you don't need to talk about it in the Metallica thread. If you must, post your AIM names, and delete them after so nobody talks to you. |
haha,, whatever man, i was just curious to see if it was you, ill see you tomarwo morning(also all the people in wood are posers and hate music, an u wuld never find them on heer)

And Kirk does play it different everytime, thats what makes it kickass even more. His best version IMO is the 1985 version, or the Live shi*t seattle version (it uses wah wah, but very skillfully) |

Well I don't really give much credit to shredders like Yngwie, except I give tons of credit to Hammett. None of his solos in the songs are shredding except solos like Sanitarium. Kirk really has variation and different notes and tones and that's why I think he's one of the best guitarists ever. Not just because of speed, but because of his writing and variation and speed and creativity |
