Where to?
I'm not positive yet, but there are some very appealing places in Florida, although the climate there does not interest me at all (unless Hurricane County is a fun time :p). I'll definitely miss my snow-filled Christmases if I go there.

Oh you will miss the snow. I haven't heard of any florida schools with exceptional music programs. Southern Alabama teaches theory through Rush songs, and southern Miss. has a very good guitar program.

Florida definitely has schools with exceptional music programs. I'm not looking for places that offer the most prestigous programs, so I don't give a damn either way if I don't get accepted into Berklee or Juliard. There are places all over the country where I could go to get a good education in music.

If you go to Florida, I can say you'll like it. Stay away from the Miami area if you want to avoid hurricanes.

The one I'm looking at is in West Palm Beach, so there's a good chance I'll see some hurricanes. I'm excited.
bands go to North Carolina...
Wrong, wrong, and wrong. Look at any schedule in North Carolina, besides Opeth, nothing.

I'll have to wait and see. I've never been through a natural disaster before other then tornadoes that completely missed my house.

They're good people, they just get a little sidetracked sometimes. Plus Jacaranda can be a spatulahole if he wants to be, as we say in the CR thread,"There's nothing scarier than a pissed-off Jacaranda."

PinkFreud 02-06-2006 12:27 AM

i actually listen to more metal than classic rock these days. and more alt/indie than anything else. we made good points, you just wouldnt respond to them.

I don't hate classic rock.

I'm just not a fan of the stones. I just don't see anything in them, that makes me say,

YAH dude... i like that.

That's all.

I'll say this again,

I don't think Alexi is the most talented guitarist.

PinkFreud 02-06-2006 12:34 AM

i never said you thought alexi is the most talented guitarist. i dont know why you keep saying that.

itd be best to bring this debate back to the right thread though. you didnt really need to go running off to tell your cob buddies in this thread about it. it pollutes the thread.
