Yeah, it is. I joined in July but didn't really do anything until December.

You have to read the Bible.

"thou shalt not sin"

Done.
Aye, Chapel Hill and Charlotte are the only cool places in NC. Every place else is pretty much garbage, if you ask me.
Durham is trashy too...I interviewed at and visited Duke and I hate it. It's amazing, every stereotype about Duke students is completely true.

I haven't heard this stereotype, what is it?

Endless Obsession 06-14-2005 02:21 PM

Just got home from football mini camp. O god was it awful. The sun was ridiculous. It was from 9-3, nothing compared to two a days though because we dont have our pads yet, which makes it a million times worse.

That they're all spoiled rich kids.

It's not as bad as Pepperdine, which my mom's father once described as "more of a country club than a university"--because Duke students ARE smart kids, but they are all really rich and snobby.

Agreed, about the rich snobby part. UNC>Duke

Yeah, I live in Chapel Hill. It is a great community and school. I want to go there, but I need to start getting better grades in order to do so. What school are you headed to? Or are you already at school?

lunch998 06-14-2005 02:27 PM

I guess you weren't around much during the College basketball season.

Endless Obsession 06-14-2005 02:28 PM

Chapel Hill and Duke are both incredible good for academics.(and basketball)

I got lost at the two a days part, but I've always found non-hitting drills easier without pads.

Mods and fellow R&M'ers. I'm planning to do a Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble FA. Should it go here or in the other music, or both?

Jom 06-14-2005 05:59 PM

Lars, I just wanted to say your announcement was one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever wasted my time reading. Thank you.
Mods and fellow R&M'ers. I'm planning to do a Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble FA. Should it go here or in the other music, or both?
Leave it here. Very few people will head over to OM, I believe.

MalcolmYoungRock 06-14-2005 06:03 PM

Yeah I kind of figured that because he is a blues guitarist, but most of his songs are rock/blues fusion.

ATM 06-14-2005 06:07 PM

Yea, that announcement Lars made was ridiculous.

How can he be that dumb?

Jom 06-14-2005 06:08 PM

Well, considering our last FG was something that's neither rock nor metal, I'm sure it would be fine if you posted something bluesy here. I know letmypeopleho had a pretty successful Chopin thread that wasn't stickied, so maybe a brief blues education as a preamble would be nice.
