How did you get a name change? Why?

I'm thinking about getting mine changed, I constantly catch flack for my name.

You have to go to the Site forum and request a name change with a legitimate reason.

Would catching **** for having a username warrant change?

No. The idea is supposed to be that good users are rewarded with name changes, or account merges if they want, but you could ask, since DBJ is being very loose with the concept of "good user."

I'd probably change it to something more Tool-oriented. Any suggestions?

All you really have to do is say something like "I'm a good poster, i try not so spam, I don't pwn n00bs, I help them learn." I've seen something as simple as that get a name change. :-/

How does he put a flanging effect on the drums? That's quite impressive.

with different recording programs its pretty basic, hi lite section you want to add effects to, then add em. same way you can add reverb to tracks.

Anything is possible in a recording studio :)

Heh, I just kind of figured that he used his electric kit, and me, not knowing much of anything about drums overlooked the obvious. :p

That same effect is actually probably possible with audacity if you tinkered with the wah wah or phaser effects a bit.
