After the Black Album, you have to admit, Load was disapointing?

I think Load only has about 4 good songs, i cant really get into post-Black Album Metallica.

Amen to that,
Black Album is good, but M.O.P is much better IMO.

I quite enjoy the Black Album and give it a spin quite regularly. It's not my favorite, but I like it.

Though I did listen to Kill Em All today, and that is making a push for top 3, beating out RTL.

Load as an album is not bad ,but as a Metallica ALBUM is a really obscene insult.

I don't really see anything spectacular about RTL,
it's good, but way overated, in my opinion.

insult to what? Metallica is Metallica. just because it's not like their old albums doesn't mean it's not metallica. it's still pretty hard.

Cunning stunts is not so good, they play live like a demo of Fuel and the intro i think is bad seed, the cool thing is that the stage starts to falling. the other part of the DVD is like live songs from Load and material from the past.

so how do you get metallica tone? does anyone know where i can find the amp settings and stuff for certain songs?

I dont know any settings, Just use a lot of palm-mute

what i do is put the amp on distortion, but not that high.
Like 7/10 would sound great.
10/10 is too much

I also put the "Tone" on 8/10
sounds great, 10/10 is also too much

i put tone on 7/10 too sounds fine

yea i just made this setting on my amp that i really like. it's got 9 distortion, 8 bass, 5 mid, 8 treble, no effects, 4/10 reverb

i put gain up all the way and i put up tone to 10/10, sounds amazing on my guitar, but ive been playing like all lamb of god recently. Drop D sounds so much better with the gain up all the way. I hate reverb so i never put it on unless its like a song that needs it.

When i play things like ratm i put my distortion on like 5/10 and for hendrix or pink floyd it gets turned to like 3/10. I dont use a pedal i just use my amp straight up cause i love the sound.

no offense man but i fu[SIZE=2]ckin[/SIZE] hate the sound of that pedal. its so scratchy sounding and i think its just bad. I like the full and powerful sound over that sound.

I have a Taye double pedal...if I had an iron cobra I'd cream my pants. My Taye one is good though. I really like Taye stuff, good quality.
