Well, yeah. For, "Good Lovin'" is a live song, and it is not sung by Pigpen. Who was dead.
|
Badmoon what's in that new Grateful Dead box set?
|
Ohh hoo! Wake of the Flood, Shakedown Street, Built to Last, Go To Heaven, Blues for Allah, In the Dark, Live at Mars Hotel, Reckoning and various others.
A good amount of those are considered by crittics to be the worst of The Dead, but I'd strongly disagree. |
What is this Shakedown Street album? Who is it by?
|

Its an album by the Grateful Dead. Have downloaded some Quicksilver yet? |
Hmmm? As of now, I'd say Anthem of The Sun. But, Go to Heaven has some bad songs, except for two great ones.
What is this Shakedown Street album? Who is it by?
The Grateful Dead |
Err, The Eagles were massive. Like super massively massive. So i'm not surprised. And They have more to them than Hotel California
Uriah Heep sucks by the way.
:upset: Tell me why you think so ? I find them very talented and listenable too... How much would you pay IF (now thats a big if) Led Zeppelin had a reunion for one single ticket. I would go anywhere up to $2,000 :thumb: (I am probably going to get flammed  :upset: ) |

It would be amazing to see them, but they better have the sound to back it up. It's not like they're going to tour anyway. |
My dad kind of likes Uriah Heep. I wouldnt pay 2000$. Are you CRAZY????
My dad was the one who introduced me to Uriah Heep, and many other of my favourite classic rock bands. I am not crazy... but I would work full-time and miss school to watch my favourite band live for those three hours of more... :thumb: ... but it would be one of the greatest experiences since I didn't get to grow with the music as my dad any many other people did. I am sure a ticket wouldn't cost $2,000, maybe ranging from $200-$600 (not quite to sure)... What do you guys think about David Gilmour's soul that he puts into his song-writting and amazing guitar playing? No one plays with more soul than Gilmour (In my opinion). He always plays just the right note. Always. It's wierd. He isn't the fastest guitarist in the world (as if speed means anything), His chord progressions are fine art and his passionate lead runs are just memorizing. Deep in my musical drive is a part that can only be reached by him. I feel as like many of his songs were something I’d written but could never get together. I could never write the kinds of words he does, but he’s helped me out in trying to write my own songs... |

I really like the School-awesome song |
The Grateful Dead box set sucks unless you're like an unbeilievably huge fan and want to own anything having to do with them...out of the lke 140 songs on it only about 30 are ones that you'll wanna listen to on a regular basis but those 30 songs will probly be on CDs 8-12 so just go buy them each at a cheaper price.
