I'm sick of dealing with it today. I'll act more like a salesperson tomorrow.

God. I'm so tired. I haven't recovered from my trip to Montreal yet, I don't think.

User Name 10-02-2006 06:41 PM

Cool, I went to Montreal in 8th grade for Spanish class.

When did you go?

BenJammin 10-02-2006 06:45 PM

We left Wednesday night and got back yesterday afternoon.

Aerodyne 10-02-2006 06:55 PM

You know what I love? Japanese prog bands covering King Crimson. The musicianship is great and the vocals are hilarious: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RDv3pyvr2IA

Retrovertigo 10-02-2006 06:56 PM

if im playing something like this:

1st,2nd,3rd,4th notes of a major scale
2,3,4,5
3,4,5,6
4,5,6,7
5,6,7,8
8,7,6,5 etc

in quick succession, and my fretting hand's wrist begins to hurt, is this bad? it seems whenever i do this exercise it tends to tense up and hurt.

am i just doing something wrong causing it to hurt? should i slow down and build up speed? whazza matter

That's awesome. I was hoping it was 21st Century Schizoid Man, and it was.

I might be going to Primus!

Aerodyne 10-02-2006 07:19 PM

I am primus. :smash:

PietroCrespi 10-02-2006 07:22 PM

I taught Les Claypool everything he knows.

BenJammin 10-02-2006 07:25 PM

Hmm.

I like the new Sparta album.

It's okay. I've only listened to it once, but it didn't seem that great.

Like =/= adore.

It's solid. Not as good as their first two, though it has its moments.

Akira 10-02-2006 07:42 PM

I played a BTB series Ibanez 4 today at GC. What a nice bass. Sounds great and feels good. According to the site GC doesn't carry any six-string BTBs, but Sam Ash does, so I will call them later this week to see if they have any in stock at the one nearest to me. I hope they do.

Jody LeCompte 10-02-2006 07:45 PM

I've got to bring my fretless to the shop...damn input jack...

BenJammin 10-02-2006 07:50 PM

I need to give mine a good setup and buy a new pickup that doesn't have exposed magnets.

Jody LeCompte 10-02-2006 07:55 PM

Ill probably drop it off this weekend.

I was going to trade my ibanez for a cort but I don't have any extra money for a while. Ive got to put a down payment on my class ring and I ended up with a date to homecoming

Why get a class ring?

Imo, in high school, they're worthless. High school means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

PietroCrespi 10-02-2006 07:59 PM

How do you guys come up with money to buy all this stuff?

I can't wait until I'm old enough to find a decent job around here. :upset:

Spaceman Spiff 10-02-2006 07:59 PM

I didn't get a class ring. They're pretty lame... and ugly. I wouldn't get one in university either. I actually hate rings. I like my hands bare.

Jody LeCompte 10-02-2006 07:59 PM

It's my parents idea.

My date to homecoming is quite the catch though, and she asked me :o

The Brad 10-02-2006 07:59 PM

The brother’s lives were altered by the intervention of a reposing red convertible which united the brothers with the prospect of utilizing this vessel for the illusion of affluence. Lyman is keen to the symbolism of the car, while Henry seems to be initially oblivious and only becomes aware after he has been shipped to Vietnam. Upon returning home from his tour of duty he seems ashamed by what he had previously accepted and wants nothing more to do with the car and stares endlessly at the family’s new color television in stunning disbelief, attempting to understand how Lyman had so easily converted the rest of their family with this contraption while he was away. Lyman ineptly feels regret for buying the color television, but only “because with black-and-white the pictures seem older and farther away” (451) and he honestly believes the clarity and deceptive reality of this new television is what is disturbing his brother.

Eh?
Is the last sentence clear?

Jimbobntnr 10-02-2006 07:59 PM

I have never bought a class ring of any sort. HS, College, military.

just sayin.

Parents idea or no... if you have to pay for it, it's a waste of money. :p

Jody LeCompte 10-02-2006 08:02 PM

Funky: I know. The cort has the same pickups but the wood isn't like a peice of butter... I hope its still at GC when I get back up there or I'll cry.

Ben: Yeah...but my mom prety much controls if I have a job or not. In fact, shes trying to get me fired from my job now because of a fight we had. Youve got to love the fact shes sucking my managers pussy

Lyman wishes he hadn't bought the color tv because the clarity and fake reality of the new tv disturbs his brother. If he had bought the black and white it wouldn't be so clear and real and wouldn't disturb him.

If that's what you meant... then yes.

The Brad 10-02-2006 08:03 PM

Pretty much. Sweet.

Spaceman Spiff 10-02-2006 08:04 PM
