form 04-04-2006 09:23 PM

lol

But I am listening to it atm, the intro sounded so familiar, but then vox came in and I never heard it.

Its a good song though, I like the soloage towards the middle of the song.

DJ Ducksauce 04-04-2006 09:25 PM

Yeah, the solo is pretty sweet. It's pretty good for Dave. He's improved quite a bit.

form 04-04-2006 09:27 PM

I forgot the names, and Dave isn't coming to mind, I remember Cone, Steve-o (think thats it) and the frontman I can't think of atm.

But it said it in the cd booklet in AKNF I think, too bad I can't find it.

/looks up name on interweb

edit: Cone
Bizzy D
Steveo32
Dave

Yeah, thats pretty cool sounding for him, I like his voice too, mainly from Fat Lip.

DJ Ducksauce 04-04-2006 09:28 PM

Deryck-Lead vocals/rhythm guitar
Dave-Lead guitar
Cone-Bass
Steve-o-Drums

Does anyone know what is going on with Sum 41 at this particuallar moment in time?

Coz they're not tourning, that I know of... And havn't been for quite some time.

So, are they just taking a break, or maybe writing a new album?

I just wanna know what to look forward to in the future...

Pazz 04-05-2006 01:07 PM

They wouldn't be working on a new album so soon. They also aren't on tour. So I imagine they are taking it easy.

B 04-05-2006 01:08 PM

chillin in ajax with the HOMIES

Pazz 04-05-2006 01:16 PM
chillin in ajax with the HOMIES
Exactly.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 04-05-2006 02:36 PM

theyre not taking a break or anythin just not doing much cause theyv been busy lately with new albums etc. does anyone know why its steve-o- "32"?? iv always wanted to know its driving me insane!

Jessizzle 04-05-2006 03:25 PM

Woooooooooooo Ajax. wooooooooooooo.

Pazz 04-05-2006 03:28 PM
Woooooooooooo Ajax. wooooooooooooo.
I was waiting for you to come in and say something about Ajax.:p
theyre not taking a break or anythin just not doing much cause theyv been busy lately with new albums etc. does anyone know why its steve-o- "32"?? iv always wanted to know its driving me insane!
because the song 32 ways to die from HHOP is a huge long drum solo, and he's the drummer

By the way, they are on break right now, although they are writing material for a new album, but they're not pushing trying to get it done, they're just slowly working their way towards it while enjoying life as it comes to them

DJ Ducksauce 04-05-2006 09:14 PM

Have they said anything about the style of it?

I seriously hope it's not another Chuck. :(

Pazz 04-06-2006 03:46 PM

So I have went and uploaded my Sum 41 albums and downloaded Half Hour of Power. I forgot how much I loved them and have listened to them quite a bit recently.

form 04-06-2006 05:25 PM

I did the same thing a couple weeks ago.

I've been listening to them non-stop lately.

Pazz 04-06-2006 05:39 PM

I really like All Killer No Filler. Their best album by far.

form 04-06-2006 05:45 PM

Thats what I thought when I found all of there albums, and started listening to them again...

But now I dunno, I listen to AKNF/Chuck the most, but still listen to Does This Look Infected a lot, so I dunno about my fav, yet.

Pazz 04-06-2006 05:50 PM

I am listening to them all, but I still like AKNF the most.

form 04-06-2006 05:54 PM

Now playing-DTLI Played Earlier-Chuck/AKNF

So maybe I will be able to see which I like best.

But I don't think I will be able to choose, cause its too hard, even though its just deciding which I like best, but still...

Pazz 04-06-2006 05:56 PM

I was listening to AKNF at school today and I was almost ready to start singing while walking down the hallway. Obviously I didn't but, I'm surprised I still know all the lyrics to their songs considering I stopped listening to that album for like 2 years.

form 04-06-2006 06:03 PM

I am so happy I got into them, its been like 2-3 years for me too, slowly become my favorite band like SF did.

g2g, Pistons are playing, later, Matt and thread.

no they haven't said anything about the style yet, if they had then I would have said something about it

is SF Senses Fail or Shadows Fall?

form 04-06-2006 08:55 PM

Senses Fail.

But I dunno if I like Sum41 or SF better. Probably Sum41 atm because I have been listening to them so much lately.

poo-poo-pee-pee 04-07-2006 12:04 AM

SF has never really appealed to me, so I definetly prefer Sum 41.

Though I will admit I've only heard like 5 or 6 SF songs...

hotpants_67 04-07-2006 09:13 AM

hey these guys are playin warped tour

aw thanks! iv always wanted to know that. DTLI is maybe my favourite.. not many people like it as much as others such as AKNF but i think its great!

FauxApathy 04-07-2006 05:03 PM

I keep seeing that a new (live?) album is coming out on the main page soon. When's it coming out? Any new tracks?

!MuDvAyNiAn! 04-07-2006 07:11 PM

it is 2 new live albums. "happy Live Surprise" released on 21 December only in japan and the exact same album but named "Go chuck Yourself" released on 7 march in Europe and America. Both of them recorded in London, Ontario in April and including a bonus DVD.

track 18 on both albums is "i have a question" which is not on any album

edit: HHOP doesn't work anymore, so don't try dudes.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 04-08-2006 05:46 AM

damn it doesnt have vids of happy live surprise :(

or it could just be a random number that he likes for some reason and they called that song 32 Ways to Die after his name, I don't know

EDIT: This is my 1,337'th post, 1337 = Leet, I like that

poo-poo-pee-pee 04-10-2006 02:51 AM

I remeber hearing Deryck say somewhere (I have no sorce, so you don't have to believe me) that they picked the numbers 32 coz "Generally people with the number 32 are good a sport (he listed a few, I think), and Steve sucks at all sports, so it's kinda a joke." ... or something along those lines.

that could be why, ultimately I don't really think anyone should care why it's his number

!MuDvAyNiAn! 04-11-2006 12:49 PM

i guess we'll never know.. has anyone got the introduction to destruction DVD? theyre own "homemade" videos are hilarious. I'd love to hang out with those guys! :p

DJ Ducksauce 04-11-2006 07:18 PM

They don't seem to be that way anymore though. They look really serious on stage and in pictures I've seen of them. They've matured a lot.

I like the Pizza robbery vid. I saw it on CYTAGYE though, not ITD.

Haha, they did that in their hometown. I can tell when they are in the car driving.

TheBassicBassist 04-11-2006 07:32 PM

I would like to hang out with them, I've got the Rocked In Congo DVD, they're still fun people, it's just not as stupid type humor, I would also like to hang out with Blink-182 and Tommy from Between the Buried and Me
