I'm listening to Oomph! It's hard to not say they sound like Rammstein.
I like to play.
not since high school to be honest
Well, hang around with high school girls then.

Jaundice 12-11-2009 12:05 AM

I've always felt that genuinely sexually deviant girls should wear some sort of identifying patch on their clothing so I never pass one without knowing.

Jaundice 12-11-2009 10:07 PM

what ever happened to that Aaron Cox netlabel

Meatplow 12-11-2009 10:27 PM

It's still up in the air.

RouteOne 12-13-2009 05:26 PM

Anyone into Ben Frost? Listening to "By the throat". Interesting stuff.

Txus 12-13-2009 05:31 PM

Yeah, he is good.

Meatplow 12-13-2009 06:43 PM

Yeah, Theory of Machines is really great.

Anyone into Saltillo? I didn't mind Ganglion at all.

Stormrider 12-13-2009 10:34 PM

I'm listening to Prurient's Pleasure Ground, and seriously this is insane.

Aaron 12-13-2009 11:02 PM

np. **** Buttons - Ribs Out

So tasty. It's like, Second-Wave IDM.
what ever happened to that Aaron Cox netlabel

When i grow up, I wanna be just like you mr. Aaron
HOLY **** Phil sighting.

Stormrider 12-14-2009 12:24 AM
I've heard some of his stuff has more of an emphasis on musical qualities, I need to look into that side of his work.

Black Vase and Shipwreckers Diary are so, so brutal on the eardrums, particularly the latter.
Hmm, I haven't heard those albums. I'm planning on looking into Cocaine Death and Troubled Sleep soon but yeah check out Pleasure Ground. I'm sure you'll really like it. Apple Tree Victim is so damn good.

I also quite like Genocide Organ's Leichenlinie

Meatplow 12-14-2009 12:43 AM

Yeah Leichenlinie is awesome, I could do with getting some more of their stuff.

I have Remember, as is the case with a lot of albums I have i've never listened to it though.

Stormrider 12-14-2009 01:02 AM

I only have stuff from Genocide Organ, NON and Prurient but when it comes to this genre, this is all I need for now, really. I'm not really in the mood for this type of music all that often. I'll just expand on those three artists for the time being.

Also, I think there are much harsher NON recordings than the one I have (Children of the Black Sun). Fountain of Fortune is a brilliant song, though.

Meatplow 12-14-2009 01:06 AM

NON's Physical Evidence was pretty good, hard to get in a decent bitrate anywhere though. The Black Album and Pagan Muzak were interesting as well, probably more out of historical value than anything though. I have the NON: Live in Osaka DVD to watch, that should be interesting.

The Boyd Rice Experience's Hatesville and the Scorpion Wind project with Death In June are probably my favourite Boyd Rice related works, these aren't noise based though.
