I appreciate your one word answers :-D

Panopticon 01-21-2008 08:04 PM

so i think im gonna talk to the music store and see if instead of bringing the guitar back and returning it, i just get some money back on it. I mean...it's never gonna leave my basement anyway, so why not?

We_Love_Lime 01-21-2008 08:12 PM

i don't get it.
How do you not return it but still get money on it.

Panopticon 01-21-2008 08:28 PM

i called them up and told them the story....

So im going to see if i can go in, and instead of returning it and getting all my money back...i see if i can get SOME of my money back (kind of like they just discounted the price) and i keep the guitar.

We_Love_Lime 01-21-2008 08:34 PM

hahaha
what?

Why would they give you money if you didn't return the guitar?

Futuro 01-21-2008 08:35 PM

return it and buy a les paul rip off from agile.

come standard with SD pickups in em

i think a 57 in the neck and a JB in the bridge so you will be ripping off adam jones in no time LOL

okay...so...say i return it...then they put it back on sale...they can't sell it for full price.

They'll have a discounted price...so instead of them putting it back on sale...they just give me the difference between the full price and the discount price.

We_Love_Lime 01-21-2008 08:42 PM

haha
That's genius.

I should do that.
So technically it's like you returning it for full value, than like rebuying it, for the resell price.
That way you make a profit.

Isn't that like
extortion>

Futuro 01-21-2008 08:43 PM

damn sell it and buy it back like 50 times maybe they will give it to you for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Berk 01-21-2008 08:55 PM

lol

no...if i returned it, and the chip wasn't there...it would go back to full price.

OR...if they knew the chip was there...they wouldn't have been selling it at full price.

So really...i figure, i'm doing them a favor by keeping it because i highly doubt anyone would buy it like this anyway.:smash:

Win A Rabbit 01-21-2008 09:02 PM

tbh chips wouldn't sway me from buying a guitar, assuming it sounded good anyways.
It was a queer, sultry summer, the summer they electrocuted the Rosenbergs, and I didn't know what I was doing in New York. I'm stupid about executions. The idea of being electrocuted makes me sick, and that's all there was to read about in the papers--goggle-eyed headlines staring up at me on every street corner and at the fusty, peanut-smelling mouth of every subway. It had nothing to do with me, but I couldn't help wondering what it would be like, being burned alive all along your nerves.

I thought it must be the worst thing in the world.
Knitting.

yeah but if your buying a brand new guitar you expect it to be perfect.

Fuzzy 01-21-2008 09:14 PM

This is true. If I bought a guitar, I'd want any wear and tear to come from myself. I don't like wear and tear to begin with, but they do give an instrument personality.

Futuro 01-21-2008 09:20 PM

maybe if i turn it into guitar center they will discount ome of the price idk cause it had knick in it hope so! pic of me and guitar included

willie nelson has a turkey neck.

Janeway 01-21-2008 09:24 PM

I have such a craving for SunnyD...

The last time I had it was on a field trip to an airport when I was in 5th grade, and the Negro clerk behind the counter couldn't hear what I was saying since he was deaf and I am soft spoken.

lmldrummer 01-21-2008 09:27 PM

YES!

i just found out how to tilt our marching snares

damn straight

Fuzzy 01-21-2008 09:29 PM

I can just smell the tobacco wafting from Willie's guitar o_O Was it in a fire?!

oliv_da_skinmasher 01-21-2008 09:35 PM

Hasnt he played the same guitar since he was like tiny. Like his first guitar?

fishbulb 01-21-2008 09:37 PM

I feel like playing chess against somebody other than Windows.
