Anyone heard anything on a new Faceless album/vocalist yet? and no, that was all caps and going without using the delete button and trying to have a hissy fit. I write poetry with that method in English class. |
nope
|

you're such a ****ing hopeless case |

So....about Deathcore...
|
As Blood Runs Black is pretty cool. I saw them with Knights of the abyss(also kinda cool) in this tiny *** venue. Cool dudes.
Glass Casket is also pretty enjoyable. |
The Red Chord and Glass Casket are best Deathcore imo.
edit -That I've heard |
As Blood Runs Black was my favorite deathcore band. Their new stuff is garbage.
|
Their old stuff is garbage.
|
don't think so. Solid vocals with range, mix of tight solos and presise drumming aside from the standard breakdowns. I couldn't care less about the lyrics, or any band for that matter.
|
I think you just described every generic deathcore band ever.
Congrats! |
gee thanks. Remember kids, there are generic bands in every sub-genre, but of course there are only elitist trolls in the -core threads.
|
He's not being a troll, he's just telling it like it is.
|
Are you referring to me as an elitist troll?
Nothing about my posts in this thread have had to do with the bands I like. I'm not an elitist at all. In fact, some of my favorite bands are extremely popular, and they're all pretty well known within the metal/music scene. |
He's not being a troll, he's just telling it like it is.
the adjectives I used to describe the band's abilities, which of course are 100% opinion (aside from the "standard breakdowns" part) don't fit the generic description. So pretty much any dumbass could say generic deathcore has "standard breakdowns" in it because its like saying a peanut butter and jelly sandwich has jelly in it. So ****ing obvious. |
Metal/hardcore is elite in general
What's wrong with being elite? |
ENOUGH OF THIS NIGGOTRY, LISTEN TO KIDS LIKE US
There we go. "KLU ASSHOLE ATTACK!" Box Of Buttholes is one of the best songs, ever. |
who invented blastbeatS?
I think the guy from Stormtroopers Of Death did. I'm not sure, though. |
They're probably the best in the genre, but...
Not really Deathcore at all, but semi similar, have you heard The Faceless? As much as people throw their name around, All Shall Perish really isn't too too bad. I like their melo death-y style Animosity is decently good Any of those?
Never heard The Faceless or Animosity. And I hate All Shall Perish. I guess I'll just stick with Crackwhore when I need a bree or two. |
The Faceless aren't deathcore... but they are cool, I dunno if you'd like though. I think they are pretty good. Animosity is just a solid deathcore band, nothing too spectacular imo
|

Yeah, they're (well, they were) tight and had their sound down to a science (the latter isn't a good thing), but they sounded exactly like a million other bands. NP: Burning the Masses |
