I try doing that, but then my brother jumps in and yells at me for stressing everyone out. He's the biggest hypocrite ever, he asks me if we have Power Point, I say no, he tells me to get it, I tell him I'll try, and then he harasses me about it for like 10 minutes at a time every freaking chance he gets.

They're driving me insane.
Move out! How old are you?

i am the robots 12-05-2005 05:50 PM

Only 17 :upset:

Plus my dad is my employer, and I can't find any jobs.

Argh, that sucks. Well you can move out soon, just try to stay away from home as much as you can.

I love my family, just not when they're being hypocritical psychopaths.

Hahaha...I don't know what to tell you then. My parents usually wouldn't do anything like that, but when they do I just ignore them and don't talk to them, then they feel bad and let me off.
I love my family, just not when they're being hypocritical psychopaths.
Are you sure that we're not related somehow? I have the exact type of family.

I only make like $300 a month (Federal Work Study) and my dad goes ballistic if I don't give him 200. His girlfriend is a manic depressent who goes insane because I washed all of the dishes except for one that needed to soak. etc. etc. etc.

You know, if it weren't for the fact that I want to be a famous musician, I'd have become a mass murderer by now.

Good plan, I'm gonna do that.

Illmatic 12-05-2005 06:21 PM

Am I the only MXer who has a good family (other than my biological mother)?

Shadows 12-05-2005 06:25 PM

My family is fine. We almost never fight and my parents are generally understanding of me, my brothers, and each other. They have various rules about things that really piss me off, but other then that I live in a very peaceful house.

Deth 12-05-2005 06:38 PM

I have an amazing family. I cannot name the last time we had an argument. I suppose it helps that we're all passive-aggressive.

Bartender 12-05-2005 06:39 PM

Depends what you mean by good, I suppose, but yeah, my family's fine too.

I'm watching a film. Never heard of it before I started watching for lack of anything else to do. "Small Faces". Anyone know it? It's surprisingly good so far.

So, what is on everyone's christmas lists this year?

I'm just getting some PC games and a bunch of gift certificates.

King_Of_Terrors 12-05-2005 06:42 PM

I think I've heard of that Bartender, I haven't seen it though.

I'm the only child so...my home life is pretty easy?

Gift certificates, a few DVD's, couple books.

That's my plan. I want a Telecaster for Christmas, but I figure my parents won't get it for me. So I ask for money from all my relatives.

Has anyone seen that one commercial with Destiny's Child where they're giving each other PSP's, iPod's, plasma TVS, etc? Man, I'm jealous.

What's FEAR?

And I used to be a pretty bigfan of the whole HalfLife thing. I was addicted to CS for a while.
Money
The perfect gift, isn't it? It sucks I never get it, my mom says "it's too bland of a gift. It makes it seems like no one wants to go through the effort to get you real present". But gift card are okay?

Happy birthday, by the way.
