I can probably tell if a band is Doom or not by listening, but I guess I'm an idiot since I usually go by slowness and that "bluesy" feeling from the music to judge whether or not it's Doom.

You've lost the plot man. You really have. You can't start redefining music on the basis of how YOU think it should sound. For example, I've decided that [insert generic metalcore band here] are what I'd call thrash. Therefore Razor and Forbidden are no longer thrash. You see how ridiculous that sounds? Yeah I used to like Circus more than the rest, then I realised each one is amazing so I just take it as kyuss a 4 album package :cool: Best way
