Yup I'm lsitening to a lot of Opeth I had been missing, man I needed to have the full discography!

Now that I have it digitally all taht remains is getting the albums physically.

During the interview Mike seems to hint that the ambiguity of Lopez's situation, especially in light of the band's increasingly demanding schedule, may cause Lopez's current hiatus to become a permanent exit. I hope this is a really elaborate (and late) April Fool's Joke :/.

Yeah I listened to that. It was an interesting interview. I hope Lopez doesn't leave the bad, he's a terrific drummer. :(

I missed Opeth when they toured the UK due to age restricitions. I'm hoping they will support Tool when I see them but I don't think that's going to happen.

They're playing London Apollo (I think) on the 13th and 14th of June but the tix might be sold out.

I should really get off my arse and try sort something out as opposed to thinking that they'll suddenly turn up on my doorstep.

I'll check out some Opeth and PT tour dates and see which I might be able to go to :)
Either way I'm sure they'll be a great experience to pop my concert cherry :thumb:

Well that's still quite a way's away but I would suggest that you look into getting them ASAP or they definitely will get sold out.

And no, lots of people hate Opeth. I'm starting to see a trend by the more "elite" metal heads, that goes something like this "Opeth sucks! there are better bands!". It's really quite stupid, as I believe they just don't understand Opeth, or are just trying to be unique. I think it's more the later.
