well, i think he isn't minding the store too well in his now 60 years. i don't think he is completely out of touch, but his manager might be. and maybe they aren't paying close enough attention to the principles that used to guide them in an attempt to stay relevant and current

Springsteen has since released a statement saying it was a mistake and poorly thought through, given Walmart's labor relations and practices in the past, and in some cases, the present. which he has disagreed with. and now he has this whole Ticketmaster fiasco he is dealing with, where the agency was holding back tickets to sell at a sister site for scalper prices. 'peeps who couldn't get the tickets they wanted when they went on sale were greeted with a link on the page where they could get the tickets at inflated prices. not good

put that all together with his overblown Super Bowl performance and it hasn't been a good week for The Boss. i didn't think he should have done the SB, anyway. for years his jock fans have wanted him to do it, but for me Springsteen and football make for strange bedfellows and it shouldn't have happened

meh...he'll bounce back, but i think he needs some younger management talent to go with his younger artistic talent ('O Brien) these days to keep him steady and straight
