Yea, and double posts, i am seeing way too much spamming, and double posting going on, I understand that it can not be helped if you click Submit 2 times instead of one, I know people have spazms and such, but please try to be more carefull :thumb:

Huber 03-22-2005 03:12 PM

I've only seen the newer videos. So, yeah, I can't really have a favorite. I haven't seen there best (maybe best) ones.

Oh cool, I think the Frantic video is accually very good, not the rehersals one, but the one with the car smashing up, its really dramatic, I love the little chicken on the hood of the car lol.
Also, the Hero of the Day video is very interesting ;)

wrongnote85 03-22-2005 03:16 PM

i've heard from a few different people that there is a video for blackened. i thought they only did "one" of justice, and i can't find it anywhere. true or not true?

I have NEVER heard of a video for Blackened, i know they sometimes play a live video of the song, but as far as i know they havn't made a proper video, a quick search of google might help, ermmm Blackened Music video Or something like that :) Good luck

btoto 03-22-2005 03:21 PM

there's no video for Blackened......unless made of a live video by fans i.e like Sad But True (official)

wrongnote85 03-22-2005 03:24 PM

yeah i've googled the hell out of it and it came up nil. i've talked to people who've said they've acctually seen it, but i dunno.

\m/Pete\m/ 03-22-2005 04:14 PM

btot is correct there isnt one...if there is then its probably like the For Whom the Bell Tolls, live
I'm great, my guitar playing has improved and i have a new found love for throwing bits of rubber at cars as they drive past. Yourself?
That's cool.
I've mostly been busy with stuff for school, I have alot to catch up on.

lightningmetal666 03-22-2005 05:06 PM

What's up? what's everyone been up to?
I've been busy doin' the school and home thing
so I haven't had much time to chat. (Still don't either).
I don't throw rubber at cars, but as a kid I used
to put large boulders in the road to see if drivers
were stupid enough to run them over.

\m/Pete\m/ 03-22-2005 05:14 PM

i remember when i was younger my friends and i would put a cinder block in the middle of the road covered with a cardboard box.

aye yi yi... what a wannabe spammer

ok so back to metallica. can anyone play the unforgiven solo?

btoto 03-22-2005 05:33 PM

Yes I can :thumb:

I hate the Unforgiven I but the band I played in made me learn the whole song because they wanted to perform it. Luckily, they kicked me out :p

Six Foot Revolver 03-22-2005 05:48 PM

I don't play guitar :upset:

btoto 03-22-2005 05:57 PM

I can die for the Unforgiven II. Too bad, the guys (our band) never wanted to cover it.

:upset:

MXican, what's so bad about NOT playing guitar???

quit the spam, shorta$s, this isn't the community thread

can anyone play to live is to die? you never really realize how deep of a song that is until you learn how to play it or until someone close dies (then you get the poem)

I've never tried to play it, but I've always loved the song. By far my favorite 'tallica instrumental.

I can play it except for that acoustic part at the beginning and end.

6stringslinger 03-22-2005 11:25 PM

1.Blackened
2.Sanitarium
3.For Whom The Bell Tolls
4.Disposable Heros
5.Master of Puppets

thelittledrummerboy 03-23-2005 12:00 AM

No real outstanding favourites. The one I play the most is Creeping Death on live binge. It's very hard to get the timing right on drums.

6stringslinger 03-23-2005 01:59 AM

SHHHHH don't tell anyone

I have just ran across about 11 different versions of "Junglessence" the bass solo by Robert Trujillo. I have the solos in Dallas,Indianapolis,Qubec, San Diego...etc

With all due respect to Rob a couple of the solo's where great but I think he may have nervous or a bit tired on some of them. I think his strength is more playing with a band and not soloing. I have heard some of Newteds solo's and they were much better in terms of structure. Rob sounded as if he was losing his concentration during some of these solos making them sound real sporadic. Newsted of course probablly has more experience playing solo's than Rob.

He(Rob) can definately defeat me in soloing on his worst day!! I was kind of disappointed when he did not do one in Columbus last year, but he kicked a** anyway.
I imagine when you play 200+ shows it can be difficult to sound 100% every night.

Perhaps his(Rob) solo ability will be stronger the next time out

I seen Rob play Junglessence in Dublin last year and I was completely blown away by it. I have the mp3 (legally acquired) of it :)
