I love this band, but I have to agree. The first few songs are boring as hell and don't have the really nifty leads or post-metalish stuff at all. It gets better later in the album, but the vocals suck all the way through.

for me the vocals are easier to listen to since Mirrors, but the vocalist from of Malice owns this guy.

Yeah they need to get him back, he isn't doing anything anyways. Sleeping Girl never went anywhere.

I've been bored by Misery Signals since they lost Jesse. I'm yet to hear the new album but I doubt I'll like it that much anyway.

However some people on these forums have said the 2nd half sounds a lot like 7A7P so we'll see.

Anyone like Evita as well ? Very good live band some decent clean vocals as well.

Oh and mappy I gave a full propa listen to ALAT last night. They're ****ing good.

Don't think I've heard Evita but yea the second half of Controller is good.

I've been digging Nightmares a lot more lately, I even preffer Matt to Sam on occasion.

But their new album Hollow Crown is going to be soo good. And yeah ALAT stands for A Long Awaited Tragedy.

Nightmares is slightly better than Ruin imo.

But they're both amazing

EDIT: I could never play really get into bluesy stuff. I always sucked at bass which is why I switched to vokillz.

yeah the new misery signals is good, but the vocals are kinda off for me for some reason, they feel watered down

and i haven't even heard of evita tbh

I have some Evita, didn't really grab me though.
