I haven't seen any of the prequels after episode 1. I was too disgusted with it to watch the others.

his WWII novels aren't exactly the best ever, but i just read Pay The Devil, set in Ireland after the American Civil War, a Confederate colonel inherits land over there, gets drawn into more conflict, blah blah blah. it was a really good read though.

Nice, I read that while I was in Florida last year..but never actually finished it. Ran out of time before having to come back to England, so I don't know how it ended. I was only about 80-100 pages from finishing, too. I should really get myself to a library again.

EDIT: actually, in other Star Wars related news, a couple of days ago I finally finished both Fable and Knights of the Old Republic. Fable was a nice little story and everything, but I found I just didn't care at all about what happened to any of the characters. With KOTOR, on the other hand, I ended up caring too much, and felt faintly depressed after it.

I felt the same way. But, you [I]have[/I] to hate Carth. I was overjoyed when he found out I was gonna kill him and take over the universe. I loved it wehn he ran away. But yeah, I got attached to the Twi'Lek and The Wookie. And That other Guy. Not so much Bastila, however.

i have KOTOR, but i've never bothered playing it. i cheated all the way through Jedi Academy the other day frying as many aliens as possible, but it's not exactly the best game ever. i'm trying it without cheating now, as i know how to do all the missions.

Gaunt's Ghosts are great. I love that Abnett really isn't afraid to kill off main characters for realism, even if it does mean all my favourite characters eventually end up dead.

What KOTOR game was it Bartender? I absolutely loved the first one, but I kinda lost interest in my Xbox before the second was released.

The first one. I thought since I'd probably enjoy the games, I may as well play them in order.

A Third one is coming out for 360, but I don't want to have to buy a new Xbox, as I don't really play mine anymore. I'm desperate for the third knights however.

I still need to buy the second one. I've seen it around for quite cheap too.

If I'm going to get one of the new consoles it will most likely be a 360. New Elder Scrolls and KOTOR has me sold :-D

I got a PS2 ages ago, and only just got myself an Xbox sometime last October, when my PS2 finally died. So my plan now is just to explore and enjoy the Xbox for a while, and not get a 360 until (at the very earliest) the PS3 arrives. And then get a PS3 years further still down the line, and so on.

I spend so much on music, I don't mind waiting on better (and second hand) prices on games, even if it does leave me years behind. Not that I have a choice.

I spend all my game money on music. And spend all my game time on here. It's nicer.

I'm up to The part where Strange leaves Norrell's tutelage, after he reviews Portishead's essay on the Raven king.

I also love Gaunt's Ghosts, being a 40k player, it's nice to view the Guard from their side, rather than as something to have my Tyranids eat.

I really want to get KOTOR.
Alot of people view it as one of the best RPGs out there, and I want to feel safe in saying, "well, it's no final fantasy game..."

I tend to keep out of PNWI as much as I can, I don't like politics much, and I don't want to get into any argument where my lack of knowlege would make a fool out of me. I get dragged in occasionally though...too many bloody hippies in there...

Actual Zombies, it's not necessary to have the huge amount of power vested in the double barrel. The single barrel is quite enough.
The speed of fire and reloading time in the single barrel makes it more useful in that situation.
