BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-18-2004 10:23 PM
:\ It's not that good IMO, I'll put it this way- it is absolutely nothing like his earlier solo stuff.
If you like the 80's sounding stuff like Traveling Wilburys and all of the Jeff Lynne produced albums in late 80s early 90s then you'd like it I guess.
I guess I wont I dont really enjoy The Traveling Wilburys. Is Dylan's 1st album any good?
ok ok, i admit it, i'm a classic rock nut. i love led zeppelin, the beatles, the who, eric clapton, the doors, and so on. most of the bands i listen to broke up years before i was born. at 17, nearly every song on my playlist is older than me. but is it just my imagination, or is classic rock experiencing sort of a revival. i am running into an increasing number of classic rock fans my age. at my school (an all boys high school), the school newspaper took a poll of everyone's favorite genre and band. led zeppeling got 5th and the beatles got 6th, behind that rap crap. classic rock made up a large percent of ppls favorite genre. is this just by me, or are other ppl noticing this too?
yes i have noticed, but most of the kids are people who heard the radio version of pink floyd's the wall so they go out and buy a t-shirt and say zeppelin and floyd are their favorite bands. there are some people who actually know what they're talking about however, which is good. i love older bands like floyd, zeppelin, the doors, grateful dead..my dad got me into all that stuff.

Your almost a year late.

We need to ask Bonzo to delete his post so they will (n00bs) stop quoting this.

BludgeonySteve 12-18-2004 11:14 PM

I asked ken to add that this is now a discussion thread. He did but people might not understand that.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-18-2004 11:32 PM

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:13 AM

Is that a deliberte mis quote of the lyrics in your user title in reference to Badmoon?

RockAndRoll 12-19-2004 12:14 AM

I always wondered if badmoon took his name from the song or not.

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:15 AM

Yeah, he knows it's not a correct quote. We were thinking of Badmoon For Mod election titles.

jpj 12-19-2004 12:21 AM

If you were in the chat tonight you'd understand. It's a reference to Badmoon, not the song.

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:21 AM

I dont know how Dylan found so many great session players for that album.
what is a rep from me worth to people these days?
I think it's 8.

And Desolation Row> Earth

RockAndRoll 12-19-2004 12:33 AM

how does how much your reps are worth get decided?

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:33 AM
come to think of it some dylan for christmas too. creedance when is your brithday?
I was on the tenth of this month, Jeff Beck's Blow By Blow was my other classic rock album recieved.

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:35 AM
how does how much your reps are worth get decided?
I think it is proportional to how much rep you yourself has.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-19-2004 12:35 AM

Is Dylans 1st album any good?

everyone please rep me

Woodstock 12-19-2004 12:35 AM
how does how much your reps are worth get decided?
In your user CP, it gives you a list of recent reps, I remember my previous number and subract off of that.

But yeah, it's proportional to how much rep you already have.

RockAndRoll 12-19-2004 12:35 AM
I was on the tenth of this month, Jeff Beck's Blow By Blow was my other classic rock album recieved.
Cool, happy late birthday. how do you like blow by blow?

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:36 AM
I think it's 8.

Luckily the music police didn't see use forget to mention it initially or we would both be in prison right now.
Cool, happy late birthday. how do you like blow by blow?
Amazing.

And thats why i find it hard to believe ritchie blackmore when he saw that he once did a seesion with Beck and Beck knows no thoery or even open chords, he is just the solo master.

RockAndRoll 12-19-2004 12:41 AM

That would be surprising. I always find it too bad when fripp and hendrix played nothing special happened (according to fripp anyways).

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-19-2004 12:45 AM

Jeff Beck > Anyone

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:46 AM

I never liked Robert Fripp, eric Clapton would probably be the closest thing to my favourite guitarist.

Creedence Clearwater 12-19-2004 12:47 AM
Jeff Beck > Anyone
Don't worry, I will rep you again afetr I have spread it around enough
