yeah i think there are two very opposite ends.

the like overly bad production IE: ****ty for a live recording but passed off as a full length. but theres also the over production, i have nothing to say about this, but it really isn't that good.

the middle area is my favorite. i don't know about yours but it's mine.

got metal cds today. met a metal kid today.

this dude was the most metal looking kid i've ever seen. i am so starting a band with him. if only i could show a pic, he looked like he came straight out of the eighties thrash metal scene.

Meeting a "metal kid" is really nothing special, there are truckloads of them in any given area.

studying for spanish and listening to smoke or fire.

i never could relate much to metal kids.

Naw, these metal kids are into I suppose actual metalbands. Like the whole 70's and 80's metal. But I don't like them. They talk s'hit and think they're the s'hit.

I guess what i'm saying is metal kids just aren't cool. Probably because I think the metal scene has always been filled with really awful bands so most metal kids are sure to like some really awful crap

Most metal kids are just dim-witted morons who stay confinded into one music genre their entire lives.
They refuse to be exposed to anything else.
Anything else is crap and not worth a listen.
Every other form of music is complete crap to them unless its early Metallica and Slayer, Maiden, blah blah.

That's about right. I actually don't mind early Metallica and Slayer (SLAYER), and think Maiden kind of sucks. But the big thing is that yeah, most metalheads only listen to typical sh[size=2]it[/size] and hate everything else. The only cool ones I've known are into the weirder or at least different metal stuff and listen to all kinds of other stuff aside from metal.

I like Maiden, but just totally dislike Metallica and Slayer (except the intro riff to Raining Blood. That **** it br00tal)
