I have to give a 15 speech on Voltaire as an introduction to Candide...I love Voltaire, but I hate outlining speeches.

Does anyone know how to disable sounds in your web browser so I don't have to listen to that dam[size=2]n[/size] duck-hunt dog laugh everytime the add comes up? It is severely interupting my music.

Go Tools>Internet Options>Advanced and scroll about half way down to Multimedia, Disable sounds in web pages. Although that will remove the sound from any web page, which is an inconvenience if your streaming music or something.

Nope, I see the ads perfectly, I just never get any audio from them.

Ok, my method, which blocks EVERY ad from burstnet, and leaves a blank space instead.

Step 1: Open Internet Options under the Tools menu, and select Security.

Step 2: Click on the cancel sign to open the Restricted Signs options, and then click on Sites.

Step 3: Type [url]http://www.burstnet.com[/url] into the text box, click Add, and you should see this:

Then press Ok, and then Apply.

That works nicely :thumb: It should speed up my refresh rate as well.

Chris, change your security settings to custom, and then Disable everything except when it gives you the option to prompt, which you should select instead.

Also, try setting the basic internet security level to Medium, in the security menu under the internet tab.
