First year's been ok so far, and aye it doesn't count towards my final overall degree. But because the legal profession is so competitive I want to get good marks on all these first year exams. Just can't wait until after 2nd year when the course is more about independent study and research and essays.

Idk about becoming a barrister, they recommend you have a back up career well planned out because it's immensely difficult to get in to.

Might look to pursue going into university level teaching. Dunno yet though.
