Probably just because she and Maynard are friends, and did that "Muhammad My Friend" duet together. I can upload the whole thing if you want, it's on that Tool bootleg I got a while back.

There is no connection, someone just said that a female guest singer would be a bad idea and end up like some song that featured Tori Amos (i dont remember what song or by who).

It is an alright song but when she whispers UGGGHHHH its so horrible she cant whisper properly live.

Ohh yeah, that's right...It's on that album of rare Tool tracks. It also has a RATM/Tool song of horrendous quality on it.
