How long have you been playing Reiner?

It will be 3 years in August. Odds are I won't do the tab, I still never did that Champion tab.

I've been playing 2 years and I still don't know anything about guitar. I'm going to start taking lessons again and learn stuff from websites too.

I feel dumb when people ask me questions about guitar because I really don't know anything.

I've been playing for about 2 years as well. I don't know any scales or anything like that. I think maybe I should start to teach myself stuff like that.

I've been playing 10 months with lessons. I'm thinking about quitting lessons.

Yeah same here. I took bass lessons when I got a bass in the fall and the guy tried to teach me to read music and I didn't even bother trying. I have to read it in music class though so I guess I'm learning. I quit bass lessons already though haha.

I never took lessons. Basically learned everything from tabs and my ear.

It's really not that hard, just for a good solid year-year and 1/2 I played for like 5-6 hours everyday. I just sat here playing in between posting ALL day.

I quit after like 3 months. He tried to teach me scales and I just gave up. I'm a wussy. I'd probably be good now if I didn't quit.

That's so boring. I can't even play for an hour without getting bored out of my mind.

Just learn a new song every day.

I've gotten bored of just sitting here and learning songs. It's so much more fun to play with an actually band even if it's other band's songs. Sounds so much better.

All I play is acoustic, and being an "anti-folk singer-songwriter), I play for hours each day and usually write at least a song per day.

I'm in the market for an electric, though.

Yeah I love playing with a band. I've been going to my friends place and messing around playing s[b][i][/b][/i]hit with them and it's great. The 3 of us used to be in a band but the guitarist kicked me and the drummer out and that band is dead now. Maybe we should start it up again...

Had more of an older hardcore punk feel to it. If thats what your going for I'd say it's not bad.

We're going to try out different types of songs to see what we end up liking best. I want do something more melodic, so i'm thinking of getting a 2nd guitarist who can write good songs because I can't.

it's lyrics that beat me. i can easily make the music to a song, but lyrics are schit for me

I can do lyrics, they come to me at the worst possible times so I can never write them down and I forget them. Like when I'm driving or at like a show.

I'm sure I come up with lyrics all the time, I just never write them down.

and it sucks because i am one of the singers in my band. and no one else in our band can write good lyrics. so i've just decided i'm putting down whatever comes to mind. i don't even care what it is now

ive been playing guitar for a year, and me and my friends have tried to make a band, but its finally coming together. I also have the position of screaming really high pitched shriek things, so i dont know if i need lyrics for that because if i did you couldnt decifer what i was saying.

Are there any sites that sell Gorilla Biscuits shirts? They only have three on Interpunk and I don't like any of them.
