The first part of Leach is cool but would be cooler without the gay 1, 2, 3!!! It's bland again now though.

Seriously the only thing that really, really hurts this album so far is the unnecessary clean vocals. I don't mind the music at all to be honest, I think it's actually pretty solid at parts. It does get a little too chuggarishalicious though.

I ****ing hate it. Clean vocals make me want to throw up, no decent riffs whatsoever, only use of keyboards I noticed was to add in random noises, overly loud drums (obviously), lame harsh vocals.

I'm deleting this as soon as I'm finished. On the outro now.

Basically what I expected I guess, with worse clean vocals.

The cleans are awful but I dont mind his vocals otherwise. But what the **** the cleans have taken over in the last few tracks.

Sounds like they got the bass player from Korn as well for some of these tracks.

I got that as well but at least this guy can play bass, unlike Korn-dude who just kind of punched his a lot.

I can already tell that this album is too long for it's own good though. It's cool to hear them step-outside of death metal at times but when you consider how wienerish his cleans are it gets annoying. Dont know how I feel about this. I like it more than their last few albums like I said, but that really isn't saying much.

His highs are pretty cool but the dude also tends to sound like he's puking.

I was hoping at least for some interesting keyboard stuff. Appears to be a ploy to get an attractive woman in the band I guess.

And I guess female vocals were scrapped as well.

I've barely even heard any keyboards. They just kind of pop in for like 4 seconds at a time every 15 minutes The cleans are torturous though, jesus christ. I didn't mind them at first because I figured they'd be used a little more sparingly.

I've never listened to Cryptopsy.

I've been enjoying Hornets of the Pogrom for the past couple of days.

It's pretty decent, not as bad as I'd expect. Still, they re-use the same dynamics over and over so this is getting more tedious as time goes on. The clean parts are kind of awful but I dont know, there's a lot of good here too. It's just being downplayed as this goes on. I see this being a 3/5 at best, which considering the circumstances is solid enough. It'll more realistically drop with each listen though, right now I'm just glad to hear it's at least better than OWN.

I'd be at a 2/5 probably. I really can't find anything redeeming about it.

I just really hate how tedious of a listen it became after the like 5th song. All the layered vocals going on, the talking and whispering and ****, is really ****ing gay as well.
