Used is the way to go ;) I got all of my Jeff Healey albums used (exept for hell to pay).

Who in their right mind wouldn't want a jeff Healey album anymore?!? :(

Badmoon, have you got any of his albums yet> You said you would get around to it.

jpj 12-18-2004 11:13 AM

Badmoon 12-18-2004 11:13 AM

$9.99 isn't that bad. I was under the impression that it was about $20

It's awesome,
probbably one of the best live albums out there,
the version of "Jail Break" And "Boys Are Back In Town" are fantastic, brilliant album.

jpj 12-18-2004 11:19 AM
$9.99 isn't that bad. I was under the impression that it was about $20
It's actualy a good price, but I'm a cheap bastard and I also wanted to get Rock of Ages on vinyl and I wouldn't have been able to get ti if I got Travelers&Thieves.
No avatar talk in the thread please.

Eh, people say that Highway 61 Revisited is Dylan's best. It has some good songs and then it has the amazo0rific Like A Rolling Stone. Many will argue that blood on the tracks or Blond On Blond are better.

It's alllll a matter of opinion.

It's also a known fact that all magazines must reguard Highway 61 Revisited as Dylan's best. 'Tiss the law.
I think Freewheelin' and Highway 61 Revisited are his best, but it is opinion.

I chose those two mainly becuase of Masters of War and Queen Jane Approximately, I never get sick of those songs.

Edit. I made my Top 25 R&M poster list.

Badmoon 12-18-2004 11:22 AM

Rock not Roll and Others: I have samples to give out in about 40 minutes.

I have to go to guitar lessons.

The band I am sampling is a strange mix of Punk and Folk in a way. You have probably heard their name.

jpj 12-18-2004 11:23 AM

Punk and Folk? Flogging Molly?

Badmoon 12-18-2004 11:24 AM

That's Punk and Celtic Folk, asshole. :p

Woodstock 12-18-2004 11:24 AM
Punk and Folk? Flogging Molly?
I've heard of them, never listened to thier stuff though.

Badmoon 12-18-2004 11:25 AM

The Punk is there. But it is light, and not like you have heard. They don't use distorion and they have a sense of melody. The Folk/County is debatable, but I see it in their writing, their harmony, and their guitar playing.

jpj 12-18-2004 11:25 AM

Yeah, the Talking Heads are a great band. I only have Fear O Music by them but it's really good.

Would they be considered prog rock?

I love psycho killer, once in a lifetime, burning down the house etc
Incredibly underated IMO.

$10 a month, but all the songs you DL are saved on a server, so It does slow your comp down. And it is all legal.

jpj 12-18-2004 11:56 AM

Then I'll just stick to Launchcast.

Who here uses Soulseek?

Woodstock 12-18-2004 11:59 AM

I use Musicmatch Jukebox. It has internet radio, and it's a burning/recording system. It came with our computer, so I dont know how much it costs.
