I just found out one of my favourite record shops has closed down. Which is a bitch.
In other, better news, my sister has bought several DVDs recently, so I've spent the last couple of days watching them. The Money Pit - seen it before, but not for a long time. Entertaining. Beverly Hills Ninja - again, seen it before, not for a while. Chris Farley guarantees greatness. The Frighteners - Michael J Fox in a semi-comedy, surprisingly clever, about murderers and ghosts. Loved it already, but again, hadn't seen it in a while. Gone In 60 Seconds - one of my favourite films, in a films-with-friends way; it has good memories attached. Good film, too. The Rock - Just a great film, and hadn't seen it in ages anyway. And completing the Nicholas Cage triplet; Face/Off - actually the first time I'd seen it all the way through, and it was really good to watch. Six for six. Hurrah. |
Biggest let down ever, Chris Farley dying. He was one funny bastard. Gone in 60 Seconds was the insperation for the one time I got arrested, good times. The Rock, one of my favorite movies ever. Sean Connery will live in infamy. Too bad about record store.

I went to see VR last night, and was suprised at the qaulity of their show. Everyone say they suck live, but i thought they were good, although Slash hogged the stage all the time. Matt Sorum is such a tight drummer, he didnt go wrong or out of time through the whole thing, and did a relativly impressive drum solo. (Im a drummer, not a noob who thinks TrAviS BaRkEr RoCks! so dont flame).
But theyre were SO SO SO many goths and emo kids who were just there to look cool. |
Awesome man. Despite everyone's hating of them, I think they're great. I would love to see them live. Yeah, an those morons get old real quick. Makes you wish you had a bat.
|
the goth/fat/emo kids(delete where not applicapble) where gladly missing when I saw them. They put on a much better show than I thought they would, but mostly all I could hear were drums. Oh so loud drums.

Sure are a lot of BS spam threads this morning arn't there?
|
Yep. All spam threads pale in comparison to this one, though.
Except the Stronghold. |
Well of course, nothing can rival the excessive, yet somewhat intelligent spam here. But that's what it's here for correct? I know even the title itself says no spam, but who are we kidding.
|
Nothing can rival the stronghold, for the stronghold is the ultimate holy word on all that is spam.
|

very profound |
So.. for a supposed spam thread, this isn't moving very fast.
|
There's only so much one man can do.
Anyway, you'll have to hold the fort for an hour or so cause I've got a class  |
Shame. I was just about to suggest starting an actual spam thread. Enjoy your class, anyway. I think I'll watch The Rock again.
|
Sean Connery just shot up that guy's feet.
That's got to hurt :( |

so are the rules gonna be more relaxed around here now? Becuase alot of people are upset with how strict R&M is...
The rules are strict, the enforcement is lame. Ban all these n00bs I say, they can create new accounts if they desire to become valueable contributors, and if they don't, good riddance! |

You read my mind! |

I don't know. I'd like to see less segregation of topics, to be sure. I'm fairly relaxed in my moderating anyway, though, as I'm sure the others (or Ken, at least) would tell you :) |
Nicholas Cage just stabbed himself in the heart.
That's got to hurt even more than having your feets shot to bits :( |
Nicholas Cage just stabbed himself in the heart.
That's got to hurt even more than having your feets shot to bits :(
Serious? That sucks, he was in some good movies. |
Nicholas Cage just stabbed himself in the heart.
That's got to hurt even more than having your feets shot to bits :(
Na, I've had alot of trauma injuries, and for me at least, I don't even feel anything. The area goes numb. Not to say that I stabbed myself in the heart, bu for example, I nearly cut my finger off this summer and I didn't feel that. It just goes numb like I said. |
