on that note, i was disappointed with the snakes and arrows album. good songs individually, but as a whole, the entire album could be passed off as one long *** song. they all had the same mellow sound and feel to them. no one song really stood out imo.

Hoping to somehow make it all stretch for new heads, sticks, practice kit, cowbell (+ necessary clamps) and a double bass pedal.

I can't see it happening tbh so I gotta try prioritise....

practise kit sounds imprtant. if you get that you won't have to buy heads yet cus you can play the practise kit.

Although I'd still play my actualy kit and need it to sound good. I've had my current heads on for nearly 2 years and they sound like crap!

I bought a set of heads yesterday and it came to £80. Thats a set of clear Ambassadors and coated Ambassadors (6 heads in total and a free snare head) I got out the shop and was like "WHY THE FU[I]C[/I]K DID I SPEND SO DAMN MUCH ON HEADS!!!!!!!"


Gonna try and take them back tomorrow which is gonna be hard cos they were real nice guys. Prob gonna make up some crap that I got home and my Dad had bought me a new kit in different sizes with new heads on it already.


I also need a new stool, desperately!

ahh thats a lot..

how about keep the batter heads (or buy new ones) and stick it out with bad resos for a while.

80 pounds for 6 heads? I don't know about you but i can get heads for around $15 depending on the size and 6 x 15 = $90.
